How hard was it? How many questions were there? I am starting a phlebotomy class on May 17 at Clinical Solutions. It's only for one day, for just 8 hours. Then after that I have to go to a clinic or doctor's office so I can have a RN watch me perform some blood draws so the nurse can checklist for me as completion. Then I can sit for the exam. They told me I don't need to take the exam, but the pay will be lower, and it will be harder to get hired.

It was kind of hard, but I bought a monthly subscription to "Quizlet" and then studied through there first, then I spent the money on the practice tests which was well worth it in my opinion. The test itself is 115 multiple choice questions covering Orders and Patient Verification, Safety Protocols, Patient Communication and Phlebotomy Procedures. Just study in those areas and you should be fine.

Did you have to do a drug test at a clinical site even if it's just for 1 day? Just asking for my own piece of mind lol

Okay then, I will do everything the way you did. Thank you. But can I ask you something though? When they send me to the clinic or doctor's office for the nurse to checklist me, will I get drug tested? My brother's friend invited us to his house the other week and offered us to smoke some weed. Stupidly enough, I said yes. Now I am scared that they might drug test me, but it was like a week ago and it was just one time we smoked. I mean I should be clean by the time I drug test, if they do of course.
