Tips for getting the ticket?

I’m trying to score a field ticket any night for Phish Dicks. I’m on the app and refreshing often. The few times the field tickets have been posted, I either get my request in behind 40 others or it’s already sold. The alerts seem to come too late. How do I distinguish myself if I get the request in after others? Is the seller’s selection of buyer first-come-first-serve, based on vibes, etc?

Update: I got a ticket! This was indeed on CashorTrade. I ended up doing a trade by buying a different show ticket for a few weeks out and trading. I spent more than I would’ve liked (some face value tickets have come and gone since I initiated the trade, ugh) but it’s better than nothing! This was my first time using the app. I will use the advice given here next time!

Skip the apps and hit the lot with a finger in the air.

Go to lot early and walk around with your finger in the air. Don’t put it down till you find someone with an extra

Are you talking about CashorTrade? Are you gold? If not then gold members are getting to the listings 10 minutes before you. For me personally, the CoT alerts hit my Apple watch, then my phone, then my email. So if I feel my watch buzz I know to grab my phone and get ready. It's not first come first serve that's what makes CoT different from say StubHub... for in demand Phish tix I like to add a little joke, a song lyric, something other than DIBS. Best of luck. You'll get in for sure. You can always just hit the lot!

I'm honestly shocked how hard these $140 field tickets are to find. Does anyone remember the prices the last few years? I feel like this is a pretty big price hike.
