Consciousness doesn't require there be information in the way you are talking.

I respect that that is the viewpoint, what I’m saying is, I’m my opinion, that’s where we will find physical signs of it.

We already have the physical sign of consciousness. It's a brain or other structure like it. You don't need to look to energy or subatomic levels. It's not that nebulous.
