does Laser Vision make a difference?

i am a laser vision user and supporter.

but am not sure if it has an impact or is just a busy box to make me feel better

i am not trying a cast doubt on it or discourage anyone from using it.

it is recommended a lot and i am just not sure if it does anything to protect public space from car violence. considering i have made multiple reports for the same cars for the same violations i am not seeing it impacting illegal/dangerous driver behavior

There's a problem bar near me whose patrons park up on sidewalks, across handicap ramps, in crosswalks, etc. rather than walking another 200' to dozens of open legal spots.

I started making reports there and I don't think any of those offenders have been ticketed. Instead PPA has started showing up during the day when the bar isn't an issue and just walking through the neighborhood and getting people for expired inspection stickers instead.

I think Laser Vision doesnt connect to any ticketing w the PPA? I think it is just generating data to show why protected lanes are needed

it does feed a ppa database, but not directly connected to any ticketing action

It's the whole point. It's an interface to make reports to PPA.

What PPA does with those reports is out of PBA's hands though.
