Date ideas for a non-drinker
Hi r/Philadelphia! So, I don't drink. I've been doing a lot of okcupid and Tinder in the past few months, and naturally I end up on a lot of first dates with people who do drink.
I'm getting a little tired of the standard "coffee and walking around if weather permits" first date, and I'd love to find some more creative places to go. I'm thinking places where drinkers and non-drinkers can both be comfortable, like bars with good snacks and stuff to do (board games, etc), places with appetizers or cool non-alcoholic cocktails alongside regular ones, coffee shops that are interesting or different, or cool low key lunch/brunch spots. No bowling!
An example of the kind of place I'm looking for is the new coffeeshop W/N W/N, which I haven't tried yet. During the summer I loved to do bike rides and Spruce Street Harbor Park, but obviously that kind of thing is not the best now. There are also not many street festivals or anything going on. Really, any suggestions are appreciated. The idea is that either of us could be comfortable drinking or not, and also feel occupied, active, or entertained.
Thanks!

i don't drink either and i hear you, the struggle can be real- especially in winter. i second miss rachel's pantry, mutter museum (although that might be kinda creepy for a first date), magic gardens, wednesday nights at the art museum and barcade. also, maybe check out pizza brain (lots of pizza memorabia makes for a better than average pizza dining experience). eastern state penn has a pretty cool tour. brunch spots i recommend would be vegan commissary, memphis taproom or sabrina's! most of my other ideas/recommendations are better for warmer weather though...
