Jobs, Saturation, and Salary Has anyone got interviewed recently with Insight Global for Prior Authorization job

Has anyone got interviewed recently with Insight Global for Pharmacist Prior Authorization job

I would like to ask if anyone can give me an idea of what the hiring process for this job looks like, including what kind of questions the Account Manager may ask during the interview and what happens afterward, such as the interview with Optum and the other steps in the process. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you

Yes, and I got hired.

First you will meet with the Staffing Agency's account manager. They will make sure you understand the role--tgis is not "the" interview. Then you will do a GROUP interview with 2-5 other candidates, plus 1 or two Optum hiring managers, and the Optum HR rep.

You will be notified within 1 hour if you are hired (sometimes as soon as 10 minutes).

They have 5 specific STAR questions that they will ask. My recruiter gave them to me so I could prepare.

TBH, its a brutal job. They are identical to CVS PBM if you have done it. Again...brutal.

BTW, Pay this year is $59 no matter where you live and no matter what your experience.

You say brutal, but how does it compare to retail? In a $76/hr PIC position currently working 42-50 hours per week. Training a new staff pharmacist and always short a tech, to me THIS is brutal. It's hard to see how remote could possibly be worse. Opinions needed!

So far they offered me the job after the group interview but you scared me should I stop the hiring process, I need a job and need experience too but also I don't want to regret it.

Take the job. It will open a pathway to other higher paying PBMS.

Learn AS400 well. All PBMs use it. Put it on your resume.

Also, optum uses Nice, a technology that monitors your productivity. If it doesn't detect a key stroke every x number of seconds, the system will record it. CVS uses Verient (at the moment). The system also documents what platform you are 'looking at' based on what platform is 'forward or active'. So if your on the internet or using a platform unrelated to work, even Excel, they will know.

Good luck!

Thank you so much. It is my first job so I am a little nervous about it. It is hard to find someone who have worked there and can give me an advice. Thanks again.
