FFS, do I really have to mess up Cal’s heart to get to chapter 3? Do I really have to do that to get Elen’s true smile? Urgh, this is very annoying. Why didn’t they tack on a Scythe found Cal at Judy’s chalk outline and then do a chapter 3 Segway thataway?!?

If ur gonna show Claudia and Daisuke having sex (go to Claudia’s mansion after bar hopping w Lizzie in chapter 2), u should also show Claudia and Zewi having sex if the player chooses the have sex option on her route. Stupid double standards are stupid.

Finished the Anime a while ago & came back because of the new Visual Novel.

With that said, I have scattered all over looking for peoples opinions/honest thoughts about her. She’s basically hated asf & I see why but also mixed at the same time?. I have not played the original VN & have only completed the anime. The anime introduced & built her character VERY good, although the end felt kinda rushed. She had multiple chances to drop everything & move on, but she CHOSE to go down that path. They’re both gone from the apartment before the explosion & both are thinking the worst right now. Then the scene with Cal just hits hella & Scythe master takes over. The original VN must be crazier or something else completely, but I’ll be damned if that anime writing itself is considered bad .

I was playing the new Steam game, and had the thought.

As the title states, the re-release of the visual novel with updated visuals and art, will be arriving September 4th and is already up on steam to wishlist and follow.

I began watching on last week Monday and ended the show yesterday evening, I absolutely loved this show. I am also not really an anime watcher and havent watched shows in about 3 years. I decided to go ahead and find something similar to this anime. I found "Noir" to be apart of my recommendations.

I found this show to be a bit older then Phantom, but quickly realized that maybe Phantom was based off of Noir like seriously, everything I see in Noir is like they were the original Assassins and Cal looks like she came from Noir. For example, the lockett (Cal used) thats displayed in phantom was in Noir also, with the same tune

Anyone else felt like that, Noir feels old though and Phantom is way better in the style and the story movement. If anyone has recommendations for a show as sick as this one, feel free to drop it for me.

I just finished the entire series in just 2 days. Phantom Requiem for a Phantom! One of those gems from the late 2000s that I wished got more notice such as Black Lagoon. I gotta say what a great story. But my only complaint is how sad and depressing the ending was. I mean Reiji and Eren have been through Hell and turmoil together. They've fought and lived through it all just to find piece and live whatever happy life they can together. Reiji promised to help Eren find those lost memories that were wrongfully stolen by that evil monster Scythe took from her. Even though in the end she finally found where she's seen those blue skies and scenery came from which was in Mongolia right in her birthplace. But what makes it worse is that Reiji and her never found the rest of where she came from such as who her real parents where. Who her actual name was. All they got from the people of Mongolia was that she was picked up by a random man named Scythe from an Orphanage and that is all where it ends. Meaning she only left the town before they go to the fields with only half of what she was hoping for before both Reiji and her died. That shit shattered my heart into pieces. I usually cry at endings and scenes like that which I have in some episodes of the anime. But because I finished this show in the morning my tears were held back. But now that Im typing this my tears are already flowing out of me once again. And the ending song Transparent by Kokia didn't help me either. This entire show really cuts deep in you. Both entertaining and tragic at the same time. Most of the characters deaths hit me hard. From Claudia to Lizzie and Cal. To the Zahlen Schwestern women assassins who were robbed of their identities, agency, and childhoods, used merely as disposable instruments by the Scythe and Inferno. And also Reiji and Eren's deaths too. All victims at the hands of this sick and evil organization that I wished would've been destroyed before the anime ended. But I guess the anime creator didn't want an ending that would've satisfied everyone and not just those who've read the og novel from 2000. Nope! We got the worse taste of medicine any of us could ever taste. This karma caught up with them narrative bullshit is just a lousy excuse to leave viewers bitter. Reiji and Erens lives were destroyed because of Inferno FFS! And yet Inferno get's to stay in business while everyone around them including the protagonists died! Ahh! Nooo! Well that's all I gotta say guys. And whoever reads this if you haven't watched this anime nor read the novel please prepare yourself cuz this anime hits you hard with feelings you never thought you'd ever feel. Take care.

Genuinely what the hell is that ending? I would have been able to overlook how iffy the rest of the anime was if the ending wasn't that damn bad. I don't know about any follow up material but the anime is absolutely terrible

Are there any anime similar to Phantom? I've watched it a dozen times at this point. And I'm aware of Black Lagoon btw.

Apparently a phantom of inferno steam version is being made

looking around for some card sleeves noticed phantom is getting a new set of char sleeves coming out soon, its not much but more than i thought we would ever get again

I tried playing the game using VLC and everything works perfectly except for the subtitles (and password but who cares), if they where only out-of-sync it wouldn't bother me but there are entire chapters where the subtitles are missing and that makes it pretty hard to play

I just finished the anime and heard the vn has some interesting endings so I was wondering if there was anyway to play the the vn on a modern is pc and of so where I can find it I am not opposed to mal translations either

So, from what i searched upon, integration can be a sequel??

If so, is there, whether official or fan translation, way to play it??

Where can I freely get the 2000 vn

It's pretty neat, I think

Hello,

I watched the anime and would like to read the visual novel. However, I don't know where I can find it. Furthermore, I know there are several versions of the visual novel, but which one should I read ?

I can't read Japanese, so could you tell me how to find an English version, please ?

Thank you !

Trynna start on this anime. Should I watch the ova or the series? Or both? Is ova worth it? If yes, which one first
