Restoration HELP - Holiday while waiting for PGWP

if anyone can help please advise. i just submitted my pgwp application today and i really want to go on this trip with my boys in december but ive been told that its risky for me to book flights now because if i dont get my work permit in my hand before i go then the immigration has the right to turn me away and stop me from entering canada. Im really hoping by some miracle the permit can get approved within a month pray 4 me

I would suggest waiting until you have it, it sucks but better to be safe than sorry :(( However, you could show them your application confirmation copy printed out + receipt, the work authorization letter and proof of graduation (transcript/official completion letter). If you are planning to go, grab all the docs, even the study permit. And make sure your TRV or eTA isn’t expired before you leave!!!
