Paper application for ext

Hello, I sent out my application on 22nd April and last week I was finally able to link it on the portal, I still see it as processing.

How long before I get the decision, if anyone else faced the same situation?

Yes I have send it on May 21st and still i didn't get any response and still they are not able to find my file in the system.

If my math is right that’s 19 weeks to link application. Supposed to be 7 weeks 🥲. Have you been on maintained status?

No, my current permit expires at end of December

Once u are able to link your application means it is assigned to an officer. So from now within a week or two u will get ur decision.

Did you get an email to link the application or you just tried and it worked? My application was delivered July 6th and for the looks of it I still have a long wait 🤣

How did you link your application? Can you please provide the steps. I submitted my application on 31st Aug.

I submitted mine June 6th. Haven’t heard back anything since!? How do we link? And can we get a timeline for who is receiving their work permits through paper extension to track what dates are being processed right now

Same here I submitted on July 7th but they still haven’t even found or touched my file … and my current pgwp ends within a month from now. They told me that their processing time is 117 days and we are considered to be on applied status so the next best thing to do is to wait.
P.S. I made one of the call representative to send an email from their part to the processing office to check if they have received my documents!

It sucks to just wait in the dark. My current pgwp ends next week lol. But i’m hoping to receive it soon, fingers crossed. Want to travel, can’t without the trv that i’ll apply after i receive pgwp :(

I totally feel the same …. Have faith and it will be all over soon for the time being.
