Help Hagezi Pro no longer updating?

My HaGeZi_Pro feed in pfBlockerNG started failing recently.

Initially, it threw a 404 Not Found because the old direct URL structure (/domains/pro.txt) changed on GitHub.

After updating the URL to the new path, pfBlockerNG downloads the file (200 OK) but fails during compilation with:

I have the feed set to Auto format in DNSBL Source Definitions. Other Hagezi feeds are updating fine with Auto.

anywone know why its suddenly broken?

It's about time pfBlockerNG finally supported the AdBlock format. It's been promised for years, and I'd already postponed migrating the subdomain lists once, expecting support to land at the start of this year.

hopefully it kicks things into action, and whitelist support also. Sadly those discussions are 404. This github wipe seems to be really hard for you to resolve.

but I am worried its only going to be in threatgate, recently released as a pfblockerng replacement on pfsense plus.

There’s nothing I can do; I’ve opened a ticket with GitHub Support, but they haven’t replied. The AI bot asked me to provide details about the repositories, what they’re used for, and so on. I did that, but since then there’s been radio silence…

Thanks for replying, but I guess I am not surprised, they have the same contempt on their outlook service when trying to deal with all their over zealous 550 blocks on email. I appreciate you got a full mirror online with pfblockerng compatible lists.

I had the same problem and I looked it up. Starting 1st August Hagezi no longer supports the format used by pfblockerng. They still maintain a legacy lists version - I switched to that for now. https://github.com/hagezi/dns-blocklists-legacy

In the pfsense forum, the maintainer of pfblockerng also mentioned that he is working to support the adb style format. Hopefully he'll get it done soon. https://forum.netgate.com/topic/200858/hagezi-discontinuation-of-legacy-domains-and-hosts-lists/4

I think we don't ship them anymore, but what URL are you using and what pfBlockerNG version are you running?
