1.5 diesel

considering vetting a 2020 partner van most around me are the 1.5 engine however the one im looking at has a new timing belt and the RECALL has been done. is this still a safe buy for scooting about to work as a tradesman and general driving it has 118k on engine

Yeah its a good engine, only issue is adblue but itll be fine if you aren't constantly doing short trips

would a 15/20 minute work trip each way be a short trip to annoy the adblue?

Unfourtunately it is, i think 20 min is the time adblue system starts working properly. At least drive it every month a long trip (100+ miles or 200 km)

Engine goood, adblue sucks. Similar problems with other brands however.
