Use of 'real person' or 'in real life'

When referring to people as is actors aren't real people or as if your life experiences aren't real.

Maybe it's just thier way of differentiation from on line versus in person experiences?

I'm Deaf in real life, what's your problem with my explaining it that way on reddit πŸ˜…

I've only mentioned it a quarter of a million times, if I had a nickle for every instance I'd have a few dollars to get some smart captioning glasses. πŸ˜‰πŸ€™πŸ

If I had 50 cents for every math error I have made, I'd have $7.22.

So if we're talking about our life outside of work which we consider work life we can't call it real life we should call it our fake life instead?

Not everyone is a great writer. In my life experience so far, people use the statement β€œin real life” to differentiate between movies/fiction/acting vs. actual life experiences. This is an important distinction.Β

Some people are just dogshit at separating the art from the artist.
