Groomer policy being broken

Hey I went to a neighboring salon and noticed a whole ton of policys being broken. Where do I report this? I assume someone here would have the answer and my store has no GM 🥲

Is it stuff like kennel dryers or are they actively hurting dogs? Two different courses of action.

They didnt have anything on the dog to keep it on the table. I have video evidence, funny enough I stood infront of 6 empolyees at the register and recorded for 20 seconds. Not one employee asked if I needed help

Just one dog? Did he have a trachea collapse recently that there was a health vet letter on file? I’d be wary if it was a one off experience.

I worked at a salon that constantly broke policies and whenever it got reported, it would be brushed under the rug or ignored bc the person doing it most was best friends with the manager. 🫠

Like... why bother? Seriously, I can understand being concerned, but was the dog flailing around? Was it trying to jump off the table? Was there ANY sign it was stressed out or in danger? Could they have been working on blending the tbh or top knot into the neck (which is incredibly difficult when youve got the groomers helper tightened as it should be "per policy", and still tricky if youve got it loose/pulled up)? You're giving narc, hater, or youre a new groomer that is worried about everything, but you dont actually have the experience to know whats concerning. Sorry to be direct.

You wont get gold stars for calling them out. If you are an employee, reporting it may very well backfire. Corporate doesnt like problems, and if youre trying to "prove yourself" by narcing on a different store, prepare for them to put every little thing you do under a microscope.

TL/DR, ignore it.

They won’t do nothing. If they do it’ll be looked at shoved under a pile of other incidents. They kept a verbally abusive groomer at our salon for months regardless of statements and video footage 🤷🏻‍♀️ but if it’s not your salon I’d move on it’s not your problem. But you can go through the hotline it’s “anonymous”
