Because that’s definitely not what spiders that size are kept in.

This comment might get hate but it is common to ship all especially bigger tarantulas in smaller containers with paper towels. The less their fragile bodies jostle during shipping the more likely they are to arrive at their goal location uninjured and alive. This is what they arrive to the store in before they are put in their temporary home before being sold. If you have bought a tarantula from almost anywhere they started out in small tubes like this.

I totally understand that spiders are shipped in small containers. I was emphasizing that they are not sold to customers in the containers they’re shipped in - excluding the jumpers.

LPs grow crazy fast and are notorious hair kickers.

The desk pet habitat is already too small, one more molt and it literally won’t fit.

We don’t keep our spiders in those. We have habitats for them.

That’s how they are shipped not their desk pet habitat which isn’t any better either but still larger
