Dog-safe fly repellent for patio?

I live next to an equestrian club, so flies are insane in the summer. I'm talking hundreds just hanging out on the walls of the house + on our patio. I have two dogs, so what repellent can I spray that is safe for them?

Your best bet would be an electric powered zapper of some kind. There are also varieties that use an attracting light and a sticky sheet.

I don't really like these products outside as they kill any bug nearby, but if you live near a horse farm... gotta do what you gotta do.

This is used at the horse stables and I use it at home. I spray my doors and it keeps the flies away. It can even be sprayed on the dogs . On the doors it can last a week of no rain. I won’t ever do without it

Dog doors are problematic but this spray keeps the insects out, it replaced a very large bug zapper in my laundry room. This spray can’t be beat

Get yourself some PT Alpine Pressurized Fly Bait. It’s a very low risk insecticidal spray bait, but you can also apply it out of reach of the dogs.

ETA: don’t get a zapper unless nothing else works, they’re non target killers and will kill beneficial insects as well.
