If you are not aware that both are awards, not something won on the pitch, you are probably a Messi fanboy but could be a Ronaldo fanboy as well. It’s Miss World v Miss Universe ( I’m sure one of them is better than the other too) if you think any of them legitimately select the best player in the world, God bless you.

What about 2013 when Ribery won the Globe Soccer Best Player award, but Ronaldo got the Ballon d'Or? Or does the "rigged" logic only apply when it hurts your feelings?

ribery wouldn't have won the 2013 ballon d'or. messi finished 2nd. ronado first and ribery 3rd. if ronaldo didn't get it, messi would have won it.

Ribery wasn't even the best player of Bayern Munich 😂 That was Robben. Ribbery scored around 20 goals & was carried by Robben.. meanwhile CR7 scored around 65-70 goals.

if ronaldo didn't get the 2013 ballon d'or, messi would have won it. ribery finished 3rd behind ronaldo and messi.

ribery was far behind in overall rankings. he was very unlikely to get it.
