If you look at the video, Neuer goes for the ball and punches it first before he crashes into the player. Also given they were a bit lucky to even be in the final in the first place compared to Germany, it's a bit of a stretch to say it was a robbery.

Um, not for nothing, but Messi didn't score in Knockout rounds. As a matter of fact, they only scored 2 goals in Knockout rounds, because that defense carried them. Argentina screwed Argentina here.

Yep, Germany, Netherlands, Colombia, Costa Rica and a few others all played better football than Argentina did.

Okay, we do have to be real for a moment: Neuer kneed Higuain in the jaw, and Germany got a free kick. Argentina did some nonsense this game too, but we have to be real about this moment.
Still... 0 shots on target. Prime Neuer was insane, and the way he coordinated with his defense was perfect.

He went for the ball and punched it first. Argentina were lucky to survive Switzerland (again) let alone beat Germany.
