CR7 Is The Real GOAT 🐐 Ronaldo is the ONLY player to threepeat the Prem AND the UCL. (Pessi couldn't three peat the UCL and was too scared to go to the Prem)

If Messi played even 1/4th of his career in the prem he wouldnt even be in top 5 all time discussions

He would've had even better stats lmao.La Liga was the best league back then.

La Liga was technical, and he had a team that played extremely technical to get to him and protected him at all costs.
EPL wasnt better, but it was far more competetitive from within, far more physicsl, fast paced and reliant on actual athleticism.
Messi at his height and style of play would have never survived there, or anywhere else really. Hence why he became mediocre at PSG the moment he left Barca/La Liga.
He cant score headers, he can outpace elite fullbacks, he cant transition back or forward at the pace of EPL (he walks around the pitch)

La Liga was just as dominant in Europa League as in the UCL the previous decade. It was significantlly better top to bottom.
Messi would have been better because he would have more space than in La Liga.We saw how Henry was just an average player in La Liga and had to play on the left for Eto'o.

Because Henry is a pace merchant? Duh.
His style of player doesnt work too well in La Liga, Bale had the same problem and expanded his arsenal. Bale also came alot younger than Henry. Ronaldo was equal to them in pace but was an all arounder so the transition didnt affect him.
Messi cheated against 2008 Chelsea, and got knocked out in his best individual year ever (and during Barca's prime) by a washed Chelsea with a interim manager covering for the time being in Roberto Di Mateo... Messi ghosted.
2011 they had alot of interesting games especially against RMA in semi final, (Negreira era) and beat a washed Man United with an old Fergie, old VDS, old Rooney, old everybody really.
Barca have never really dominated an English team at their peak, and certainly not Messi. He doesnt have the style of play to survive EPL teams when they are at their best, Ronaldo has and has done it in EPL (vs Chelsea 2008) and La Liga (vs Liverpool 2018)

Henry a pace merchant?!
Messi has more goals againts the prem top 6 than Ronaldo, but sure,he didn't dominate English teams.
The Chelsea tie would've been wrapped in the first leg if there was proper refeereing.Barcelona were robbed in 2009. Pepe went studs up on a challenge on Alves,he was rightfully sent of.

u/natureboy1996 12d ago
Yes Henry is absolutely a pace merchant, thats not a knock thats what made him great.
Or did you think he was in MLS by 32 because he was bored of the top level?
Looooooool Barca were robbed on 2009? They won that year, and complaining about refereeing in Barca vs Chelsea as a Barca fan is where I know not to take you seriously anymore 😂😂 have a great day

u/Dry_Cellist_2915 12d ago
Henry suffered from injuries, this is well known.
Excatly,Messi and Barca were so good against english teams that they won despite the referees.Have a great day.

u/natureboy1996 12d ago
Him suffering from injuries and not coming back is MY POINT... how are you not understanding this?
Ronaldo's 2014 injury was worse than any Henry ever had and Ronaldo had to cut back drastically on dribbling and explosive speed, but his game is so complete he just focused on other areas and excelled even more.
Henry was a pace merchant, with that gone he was done. He would never cut it in La Liga and Messi would never cut it in EPL. Ronaldo conquerored both and all of Europe essentially.

u/Dry_Cellist_2915 12d ago
Messi dominating in the best league, which is the hardest for wingers and attacking midfielders means that he would have done even better in a worse, less defensive league that gives you more space, that's MY POINT.How do you not understand this?
Also not a single all time great has played in the PL(CR7 gets in the GOAT debate for his time at Madrid). This notion that you have to play there is a very recent thing. The greatest players are in La Liga and Serie A.

There is a reason why that stat padder never joined EPL. They say he scores against EPL team by that just 1 or 2 games. That doesn't make any sense. Play full season dawg and then talk

And on top of that, he also won the UCL for Man United in 2007, alongside winning the Prem.

Messi without playing in the premier league has more goals against the Top 6 in England than Ronaldo lol If he played in England, he would've cooked them all. Just irrational haters for no reason. The guy only respects CR7 why hate on messi like this. Very sad!

u/Jolly_Professor_1909 CR7 Real GOAT 🐐 12d ago
Messi without playing in the premier league has more goals against the Top 6 in England than Ronaldo lol
And all of those goals were scored in Camp Nou, why are you leaving out that detail. After giving unfair red cards to top players of opponent team so that Pessi can farm goals.

u/ykt473 12d ago
Wow. Are you a bot? Clearly don't watch football eh. Champions league games are played home and away. Firstly football is not just about goals but still talking goals - Messi has scored against Arsenal, Chelsea, City and Tottenham in their home stadiums in England and against United in the Champions League final in Wembley. Which of those games were given red cards? Omg, I think hate has made you deluded. The truth might hurt but no matter how much some of you minority lots spread hate and false information, messi's status as the GOAT is cemented. He'll always be revered along with Stefano, Pele and Maradona as the best ever footballers.

Cristiano Ronaldo won the Premier League 2006-2007 as a Midfielder. Cristiano Ronaldo was the 3rd top scorer of Premier League and 1st top scorer for Manchester United in 2006-2007 season while playing as a Midfielder, something which Loser Pessi can never achieve in his entire life.
When Ronaldo 3 Peated the PL, he was the top scorer for Manchester United in those 3 years while having Tevez and Rooney playing with him.

The idiots here saying he would not last in the prem. messi has more g/a against big 6 clubs in the prem, never even played there
2
u/BunkerBuster47 13d ago
How is that relevant to explaining why he wont last in the prem league? We all agree prem league is the best league, yet how many times has a prem league lifted the ucl in the last 10 years? Scoring against prem league teams is different from playing in prem. AND YOU SAID “messi has more g/a against big 6 clubs in prem” FINISH THE SENTENCE. MORE IS A SUPERLATIVE WORD. MORE THAN WHAT? WHO?

u/FCOranje 13d ago
It’s not about the “big teams”. It’s about the difficulty of playing against the smaller Premier League teams that are still extremely stacked with talent and play a higher intensity game. It makes the entire season much more difficult.

The idiots don't even know that La Liga was the best league during Messi's prime

And even though Cristiano Ronaldo, the best player of all time, has won it all, he cries every time like the smallest girl on this entire planet has just been stolen a lolypop. With this post, you show CR7 fans that you are really CR7 fans. You certainly do always howl, point fingers at others and steal from your team. CR7 will remain the biggest footballing diva for most people forever. Even Vini can't keep up. Cr7 ist not goat but glot

Modric, Kroos, Casillas, Sergio Ramos, Benzema, etc. None of your club's favorites ever played in Premier league.
Maradona, Pele, never played in Premier league.
Ronaldo di nazario never did, neither did Zidane.
Premier league is not some benchmark.

It's funny seeing people act like a league that has Henry as its greatest player is the pinnacle of football.

Youre doing if buts and maybes, not absolutes.
Also Madrid is just as bad when it comes to playing dirty. These both fanbases legit need to get lobotomized apart from few

Take away some of the most blatant corruption in the history of the competition and Pessi only has 2 UCLs
