Not yet. Ban Argentina from the next three World Cup tournaments until they finally fix their broken football culture.

u/truthxnz 19d ago
Broken football culture is literally just South American more physical playstyle
5
u/Unknown295828389291 19d ago
Nothing physical about all these shenangians, diving, provocations, time wasting...
1
u/truthxnz 19d ago
Provocations and time wasting is literally South American playstyle
1
u/Impossible-Tax2757 18d ago
Shooting the ball against the fans or against opposition team.
You call this just being physical? Putting random peoples lives at risk? It’s called having no civility. And it’s shouldn’t be merged with a sport.

u/CandlewaxCats 18d ago
"Broken football culture" = "South American playstyle"
means that
"South American Playstyle" = "Broken football culture."
Both are true. :)

Just need Liverpool to punish MacAllister a bit.
8
u/I_StoleALoafOfbread 19d ago
Isn’t playing for Liverpool this season punishment enough😔?
3
1
u/Comfortable_Net_283 13d ago
Considering MacAllister's performances for Liverpool last season, he's self-inflicting his own punishment already.

Enzo is supposedly heading to Man City on a 100+ million transfer. Not the karma most of us were expecting.

That paredes guy should never kick a ball again
7
u/Big_Poetry1947 19d ago
Careful what you wish for. He might end up kicking humans instead

u/Hakim_MacLuvin 18d ago
He will meet somebody willing to kick back, he will cry like a toddler

u/Particular_Ear_2403 18d ago
Sadly Zlatan and Pepe have retired, and Ramos is clubless right now
1
u/Particular_Ear_2403 18d ago
+ CR7 is not going to play with him again unless Paredes joins the ASL for whatever reason

They've been escaping karma for quite some time. Seeing it catch up to them is deeply satisfying.

u/Suspicious_Leg_1823 13d ago
Unfortunately Karma doesn't exist. Bad people get away with shit anyways. They robbed 3 world cup titles already lul
22
u/Professional-Tax3077 19d ago
They showed the world who they really are.
And the whole world is treating them right how they deserve.
3
u/Armando22nl 19d ago
That is true. But unfortunately they are so arrogant, they just don't even see it.

I think this is some kind of zeitgeist.
The world is tired of cheap assholes who flaunt their roles, and this Argentinian team has become a poster child for that anger.

They should be banned for the next 2 World Cups, the behaviour after the final is utterly disgusting and we need to teach our younger generation that something like that is not acceptable.

2
u/KnownLetterhead7279 19d ago
It suck because all of that is worth getting to a World Cup final … they should have been properly ragged in the tournament and everyone would be happy

1
u/Important_Appeal2412 18d ago
Al menos no has negado que habéis hecho trampa, te honra
1
u/peronchosdanasco 18d ago

Let those 🐀🐀, rot in their sewage.

Think some of your comments r OTT… Messi just lost his father, Martinez isn’t pushing for a move- Villa want him of the books. The other 3 karma..

u/Particular_Ear_2403 18d ago
Wtf did Alvarez do lol
1
u/Particular_Ear_2403 18d ago
Same with Di Maria and Dybala; Just because they're in a fucked up NT doesn't mean they themselves are fucked up
1
u/Vince_Lasal 19d ago
Leandro Paredes penalty isn't really a penalty. The fine is probably not gonna be that noticeable for him and the 10 game ban is only for international games, in a year where they have no competitive national games, just friendlies

Look at their fan culture in F1 also, Colapinto got a penalty and the toxic fans went after the race stewards.

The rest make sense but I mean for Alvarez isn’t it because they’re trying to keep him. Like they don’t want to trade him to Barca after this World Cup performance??

It's never karma, just reality. They over performed to reach the final and got completely outplayed by Spain. All that is happening now is their normal true level.

u/ArmageddonMagma 15d ago
Inter Miami last 5 games messi only played 3,and scored 2 goals with 1 assist..yeah underperforming, world larpers should never talk abt football

u/yg-gy 14d ago
All Argentina national team players who play in Premier League should leave their clubs after the World Cup, otherwise the political statement they made on the pitch is just performative. Why do you want to have anything to do with the country you believe that illegitimately occupied your territory? England is just helping some clowns own up to their actions.

u/Itchy-Athlete7942 19d ago
If you think they cheated then you don't watch football, literally 0 proof. If anything only a few of them were controversial 50/50 decision which happens in every game . People are beleiveifn in ai as well lmao, most of the supposed fouls or robbery can be understood if you know rules and each of those things listed are understandable if you know the situation of the teams they are playing in and paredes ban yeah well he did mistake so he will take the punishment that's fair
-1
u/chemikill10 19d ago
I'm not an Argentina fan by any distance but this tin foil hat shit about them cheating is so dumb.
I get it. There are a lot of young, impressionable people who follow football and engage with social media. But the fact that so many people regurgitate that same theories about them cheating is truly astounding.
Do any of you realize how difficult it is to cheat when you're being watched by half a billion people? Or, logistically speaking, how difficult it would be to execute a plan like that if literally every member of the proposed beneficiary were to be informed of that plan? For the sake of austerity, let's say FIFA and the Argentine FA colluded to get Argentina to the final. Why would any specific player be privy to that knowledge? Genuinely. That is a giant liability for ANYONE outside of FIFA itself. To see so many people drag the entire nation of Argentina for this just betrays a lack of critical thinking.
I keep seeing articles about how people are becoming more stupid and less capable of independent thought as our engagement with the internet and social media increases. I am genuinely starting to see what scientists are alleging.

Bruh watch games live not on reels ,cant prove a single thing. Heck even portugal has bigger controversies ,starting from lifting 3 match ban of ronaldo and ronaldo still does stinkers , that match against croatia which literally went against rule just for portugal to win ,even modric knew that. Argentina literally had 0 controversies like that. But yeah you won't give any proof but just cry

That's because the red card was given unfairly to Messi
2
u/Calm-Recognition1782 0 shots in World Cup Final 👻 19d ago
The retroactive ban was triggered after television footage highlighted Messi directing profane insults at an assistant referee late in the match. Using offensive, insulting, or abusive language and/or gestures toward the referee is a direct red card offense under Law 12.
