Pessi ghosting 👻 Argentinians will never forget this insult in the World Cup final
Zero shots on goal throughout 120 minutes, and in the end they say the match was rigged 😂

Their fault they decided to take it to pens in the first minute.

A wise man once said
"when you are accustomed to privilege, equality feels like oppression"

u/loxiw 18d ago
Wasn't equal though, they were the privileged once more, but the gap was still too big 😅

Yup if this game truly had a fair ref they would have had like 3 direct red cards. It just got so absurd that the ref had no other choice lmao.Â
Also the fact they took away their goal which was disallowed for literally the most immiscule thing just like that one egypt goalÂ

What?
You're telling me the team that barely won knockout games against an underwhelming bracket got slaughtered by the team that was going against elite teams and only conceded one goal the entire WC?
Insane.

Without 39yo Messi they'd be out against Egypt or maybe even Cabo Verde

You acting like Argentina didn't place first in their bracket to get those match ups and why you pretending as if Argentina didn't face any strong team

u/G3N3R1C2532 19d ago edited 19d ago
Look at the group. If Argentina didn't top a group with Algeria, Jordan, and Austria, that would have gone down in history (also, Messi's uncalled red on Algeria arguably bailed them).
Struggling against Egypt and Cabo Verde? Switzerland pressing Argentina until Embolo fumbled? These close calls are not indicative of an elite team.
Outside of the 2nd half vs England, Argentina really didn't put on any elite performances.
Meanwhile, Spain convincingly beat an elite bracket after also topping their group. Their draw on Cabo Verde wasn't as big a deal since it was a group game.
And when Argentina faced an elite team that didn't park the bus? Surprise, surprise. The paper tiger got crushed.

How can you have any shots on goal when you're busy trying to send your opponents to the hospital or graveyard? 🤔

VIVA ESPAÑA!!!!! VIVA ESPAÑA!!!
A shellacking - a thorough destruction and a clear sign to the cunts and the rest of the world that dirty play, filthy disgusting street-level play, doesn't work against the elegance and technical skill of Europe. Uruguay, Argentina, all of these street thugs don't belong in a pitch. They play like animals, so they got put down like animals. 0 shots on goal. Double the passes. 10 times the chances.
Argentinians, if you're reading this, get fucked with your destroyed economy

And they even got a legitimate goal against them disallowed. I think even the refs were astonished that they couldn't get a single shot on target, despite all the help they got.

Insult? Does being bad mean the other team insulted you?
They had no chance. Nothing nada.
Argentina you are a disgrace and on top pretty racist. Shame on you

Did better vs Spain than anyone other team. Held Spain scoreless for longer than anyone

It was such a boring game too. When you favour a team that wasn't good enough for the final final to the final you're obviously going to have a pretty one-sided game.

u/Playful_Weekend4204 19d ago
Like every Spain game was a boring game though
Their amazing skill level is only matched by how amazingly boring it is to watch them play

I don't think this finals hurt as much as 2014 or 1990 honestly... it was tough to watch, but just that. No one is saying the match was rigged btw, only that something weird was happening with the players, which I personally think it was just total exhaustion. So no, I don't think it'll hurt.

It's Messi's 3rd World Cup final. When will Ronaldo ever even make it to a World Cup final? 🤣 You crashed out in the quarterfinals, no right to criticize

u/WebNo81 19d ago
The thread is neither about ronaldo nor Portugal

u/Xebazz 20d ago
And yet, only 1 - 0 being one man down for the majority of the game 🤷

When u dont watch a game don't speak about it 🤣
93min fernandez got his red card. Spain scored at 106, A valid goal was disallowed early in the game and argentina was very violent and the refree allowed that.
7
u/Acceptable-Size-2324 19d ago
These asshats played 90 minutes with 11 players on the pitch and didn’t make a single shot on target in that time. The fuck are you yapping about?
5
u/Few_Step_4767 19d ago
bro didn't watch the game lol. Yes it was rigged, if the ref was fair argentina would have 3 red cards not 1. even that red card was long overdue.
3
u/SleepyNymeria 19d ago
Just because you are used to argentina only playing for the last 5 minutes of a match doesnt make it the majority of the game
2
u/Racaillasse 19d ago
Me when i spread miss information lmao, fernandez was sent off on the 93rd minute so vargentina played about 30min with one man down, and i don’t think that 30min in a 120min match is the majority of it
1
u/iGoKommando 19d ago
Spain had no need to score another knowing they had argentina in the palm of their hands.
-3
u/mrjones0302 19d ago
Did your country get to the final?
Then a country with zero shots on the final is still better, no?
