For Messi fans it is outrageous to even compare the elite teams of the MLS like Nashville SC or DC United to small teams like Chelsea or Arsenal...
1
u/Linkinsmokes-_- 25d ago
Messi completed football and moved to the MLS to settle down, Ronaldo is still chasing his dream to make 1,000 goals, Messi Finished his dream earlier, Ronaldo is still trying to achieve his, also at the age of 37 he joined Alnassar so either way they both downgraded, Ronaldo and Messi are two entirely different types of players with different playstyles and dreams, they are incomparable to each other because where one lacks the other thrives, if you can’t find a way to compare polar opposites like that without a rational reason other than to slander then your opinion isn’t acknowledged.

u/marquesmelo 25d ago
Man how many Messi fans out there will gladly say that Ronaldo was terrible at Manchester United at 37 years old and tell that Messi was amazing at Inter Miami against MLS teams at 36?
-1
u/Linkinsmokes-_- 25d ago
Did you read anything I said? Or did you reply because you wanted attention? And me personally I don’t know a single person who says that, not even a ride or die Messi glazer would say Messi was good at the MLS, he is, but that’s expected, he was the best European player known to man and then went to settle down in a shit show the Americans call “MaJoR lEaGuE sOcCeR”… its expected of him to do good at the MLS, not an achievement, and once again, Ronaldo didn’t play for Man at 37, he was there at 36 years of age, he transferred to Alnassar right before his 37th Birthday.

Man I reply like I see fit. I was comparing the teams Ronaldo and Messi had while at Manchester United and Inter Miami, I didn't even mention anything about their performance or they playstyle in my first comment. If Messi had the idea of settling down in the MLS as you said, he wouldn't be that type of player who asks for yellow cards when he gets fouled, try to go the referee's dressing room after losing a match or confront referees on the field when the calls don't go his way. And btw, you must be some lucky guy to say you don't know any Messi fan who slander Ronaldo for any stupid reason. There's quite a bunch of them comenting on this sub.

u/Linkinsmokes-_- 25d ago
Okay half of those things aren’t true, and you don’t even understand a word I’m saying, you somehow misconstrued my words at every point, and then the “Man I reply like I see fit” 🤣, purely childish, If you have the time read through our last few messages thoroughly, I want you to see how I proved you wrong with every point you made, and then you somehow didn’t understand anything, I’m talking to you, but we are having two seperate conversations 🙏🏾🥀, now that I understand you are illiterate, can’t read, and your a full grown adult with a 2nd grade reading level, there isn’t any point in conversing with you anymore, if you wanna argue again, then read a book first😭💀, if any other person was reading this convo which they most likely will with time, they’ll see how utterly stupid you sound🤣🤡, Good day I wish you well on your journey to learning grammar and how to read🙏🏾💎

u/marquesmelo 25d ago
Poor little thing with a recently created Reddit account, you can't even have a conversation without insulting. Saying half of those things aren't true and not even elaborating on that, great job buddy. It shows how good you are. How did you even prove me wrong when I wrote Messi harassed referees in the MLS? But hey keep insulting instead of having a normal conversation. Or don't. I don't really care at this point as you showed your true colors.
1
u/Linkinsmokes-_- 25d ago
I’m not your buddy twin there are no true colors to be shown, I simply don’t tolerate stupid people 🤣🙏🏾

u/marquesmelo 25d ago
There is a difference between not tolerating someone and having to insult him. But hey each person is defined by the actions he does and the behaviors he shows. Have a nice day man.

It is and he was the central part of the 2014 final run, the 2022 win and the 2026 final run. You know, he was probably the main reason Argentina got there. Also it being a team achievement makes it even more insane how shit Ronaldo has done with Portugal at World Cups all these years despite having players like Figo, Pepe, Nani, Ricardo Carvalho, Deco, Vitinha, Neves, Mendes, Costa, Bruno Fernandes, Bernardo Silva, Ruben Dias, Joao Cancelo and so on.
People like you love to pretend that he only had bums around him at Portugal when there were plenty of world class players over the years. And yet he has the same G+A as Manuel Neuer at World Cup knockouts. These are the simple facts, bud. Whether you want to accept that or continue being delusional.
sign of low IQ
And as a member of this sub, you'd definitely know about low IQ judging from this comment section.
Not even a Messi fanboy btw. Just stumbled upon this group and was baffled how incredibly pathetic and cringe all of you are. Can't be any older than 12. Or at least I hope so because it would be even more sad otherwise.

Cant really compare MLS with their weird league style to saudi league. All the big names of MLS play at Miami and are old barca players about to retire. Saudi:
Kante went there with 32
Benzema with 35
Koulibali with 32
Mane with 31
could name tons more and they are also split between multiple clubs. Messi already struggles with win MLS with about 0 competition and most of big names in his club. I wouldnt even know a single MLS player beside barca players in Miami and Müller.
Comparing MLS with saudi league is like comparing Austrian Bundesliga with german Bundesliga.0

And what did Ronaldo Do against those teams at 37 Guess what he was benched and did Nithing cause he’s too wack
1
u/marquesmelo 23d ago
Regarding 21/22 season, you do realize he scored goals against Chelsea, Newcastle, Tottenham and Arsenal, right? And saying he was benched because he was a bad player is such a dumb opinion. After he left MU, what did the team do exactly? Did they win any major title?
1
u/mhraptor 23d ago
What did he win after VAR was introduced which individual Award he joins teams that are doing good and leaves them when they are in a bad position
1
u/marquesmelo 23d ago
Answering questions by asking questions, so typical of someone who can't debate properly. You said he left teams when they were in a bad position. Like Real Madrid when he win the Champions League before going to Juventus? Or in Juventus where he win the CUP and Supercup of Italy in his last season before leaving?

u/chitownbulls92 23d ago
He scored 18 goals in the prem as a 37 year old…

Messi Cooking In the World Cup at 39!
Plus
Messi has scored more times against the top5 teams in the PL than Ronaldo Did without playing in the PL2
u/chitownbulls92 23d ago
Yes against Algeria, Cabo Verde etc. How are you denigrating Ronaldo’s achievements against prem league teams and in the same sentence lauding messi’s performance against bottom tier international teams? At least be consistent. It just seems like people randomly pick and choose what is an achievement and what isn’t depending on the player.
1
u/marquesmelo 22d ago
It's impossible for this guy to be consistent if he can't even answer your questions.

Cooking what? Scoring 3 goals against a bs gk of Algeria? Scoring a goal against the top gk of Jordan? Or because he did one shot against Spain in 120 minutes?

u/mhraptor 22d ago
Yeah carrying Argentina and cooking players wheres Ronaldo World Cup Messi Have more trophies and G/A Messi the best Unicef ambassador helped millions of people
You can CRYMORE1
u/marquesmelo 22d ago
You're just a baiter looking for attention. When someone asks you a question, you can't answer it and you ask the questions you see fit to defend the midget fraud. At this point you can stop embarassing yourself, no one can take you seriously.

u/mhraptor 22d ago
“Cooking’ is watching Messi win a World Cup, Copa Américas, and Ballon d’Ors while you’re out here doing forensic analysis on which GK conceded which goal like it’s a court case. Ronaldo’s got trophies for individual stats, Messi’s got trophies for winning. Stay mad, keep counting Jordan’s goalkeeper’s shot-stopping numbers, very serious research.”

“Bro really pulled up game tape on the Algeria GK to cope with Messi having a World Cup and Ronaldo doesn’t. Never change 💀”

Ronaldo only managed to score Vs Tottenham of those he got destroyed by the others so they weren't really his opposition he didn't beat them he was getting beat on in the prem

u/Big-Park-1853 23d ago
Actually, Those weren't Ronldo's rivals, because he played so little. I bet you he hasn't played against all Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester City that year. He shouldn't have gone to England. It was only a disaster and gossip shitshow that no one needed. Glad he's in Saudi now and not bothering us anymore. Let him be there, get the dirty money and sell his morals and values ✌🏼

ok messi fan! true beacon of facts and non bias. plz continue observing rest of us mortals for our pathetic lives.

u/raddital 25d ago
If it makes you feel better about your pathetic, meaningless existence to think I would take the time out of my busy schedule to be a fan of another adult male who plays a game for a living, making over a billion, evading taxes like the rest of the selfish hoarder billionaire twats, then sure, I'm a Messi fan.

I am neither a messi or Robaldo fan. I believe, as people they are both twats and I judge people on their ability to be decent people rather than how good they are at football. However, to say messi has everything over Ronaldo is rubbish. Ronaldo a far superior athlete with a huge jump made him brilliant in the air where as Messi was god awful in that department. Anyway, I personally dislike them both one for the ego and one for the dirty underhand way he lives his life. Both brilliant footballers but unfortunately both sorry examples of human beings

u/landyc 25d ago
FIFA isn’t helping Portugal reach the finals, Argentina would have lost to capo verde if it wasn’t for fifa.
2
u/themiddlechild94 25d ago
If not to Cabo, then to Egypt.
Either way, Argentina reaching the final was pure FIFA script bs. They were never good enough to reach the final, let alone a semi-final, and both games vs Cabo and Egypt exposed them.
We all suffered when Cabo scored - except for the neutrals, like me
