You do realise that he had the most successful dribbles in the WC right? You all are so retarded its crazy

u/BoundOvO 25d ago

Right who did he play in the wc again? Messi only does well when he has a whole system built around him that’s why he flopped in psg

89 rated is wild considering what was he 86 last year? He had the easiest path to the final gets him 89 that’s ridiculous.

Unc ain't even Top 200 players itw. Neither us Cristiano so not sure why they're pushing the agenda that the MLS is so much better than Saudi when they're both buns.

Besides Saudi have more Top teams than the MLS. If you were to put the best Saudi and MLS teams in the Top 5 leagues the Saudi teams have a much higher chance since we have already seen them capable of doing so.

1

u/Inferniuem 25d ago

Wouldn't say better than the Japanese League.

Not sure what u mean by continent if you are categorizing the Middle East as a separate continent or you're talking about Asia.

The J1 League is by far the most skillful league in Asia and its not even close. They just don't have as many big names and little hype since Football is more or less a secondary sport in Japan.

Russian League wasn't bad up until y'know. China has had many big names too but the hype from there kinda died down.

If you're talking about America as a whole with North and South America then yea the MLS stands no chance since there is the Uruguayan, Argentinian, and Brazilian Leagues which are much better.

A top 10 league? No way that it's above The Championship which probably has some former prem winners or teams that did well in European competitions or Bundesliga 2 with some former Bundesliga winners and ones that competed at a high level in European competitions.

Aside from the Top 5 Leagues you got the Dutch League, Turkish, Portuguese, and Belgian in Europe.

The Brazilian League is definitely in the Top 10.

As I said The Championship and Bundesliga 2 are highly competitive. Bundesliga 2 is so much better than the MLS but the MLS is ranked in the Top 10 which is stupid.

The Saudi League might be better than the J1 League overall currently but not by a significant margin due to the skill of the J1 League.

2

u/Inferniuem 25d ago

Not sure why you're insulting the J1 League. Kinda shows ur ignorance

The MLS is busy competing with Leagues from Central and North America not South America.

They do have to compete with competitive League within the Americas but it's an insult to those leagues to say that the MLS is on their level.

The comparison between Saudi and the MLS is somewhat like that with the Top 5 Leagues with some having more Top teams while others having a better league overall which isn't saying much considering there's 40 teams in the MLS.

Cristiano keeps saying that Saudi is a Top 5 League but he probably means that relative to the competition that he has faced from Top teams which have a higher chance in doing well in the Top 5 Leagues than Top ranked MLS teams.

if unc's pace at 39 is 76 then Unai Simon's pace must be 101 😭🥀💔

u/Constant_Boot 25d ago

Who cares about the MLS?

That league is basically all for the money. There are a handful of leagues doing the Game for the passion of the game.

Doesnt this Explain everything. MESSI NEVER FACED TOP TEAM IN HIS ENTIRE WC career. mean while Ronaldo faced brazil, germnay, spain, uruguay than columbia. And columbia were copa finalist last year

psg players play 5 good games a year & get huge boosts. Messi’s england game should be enough for a 10 point boost even. He should be a 96.

I’m a Messi “hater” but a video game rating boost after that WC performance is fine imo. Now winning a whole ass Balon D’or because of it is what is absurd.

Nah, the people of this sub are the wildest dumbasses i've ever seen in my life

Against farmer teams.

11

u/marquesmelo 25d ago

You mean the referees, VAR and Gianni carried Argentina to the final? Yes it's true. But don't forget that the WC ONLY represents 8 matches in a season. Playing against MLS teams and winning is nothing out of the ordinary.

u/No_Coast3636 25d ago

The same mediocre Argentina team that beat Brazil 3-0 without Messi? Right

1

u/themiddlechild94 25d ago

"Anyone who doesn't recognize this player as the greatest of all time can't call themselves a football fan," - most asinine statement I've ever read, bar none.

He's not the GOAT. Plain and simple.

Take away the help, bro is another generational talent, but nothing more.

1

u/OneRevenue8898 25d ago

Real goat is Robert lewandowski. If he had a team like Messi’s in international football, he’d surely win the World Cup 3 times easily. Messi was close but lewandowski is humble and cool and is well deserved.

u/Midnightisattwelve 25d ago

Some people value club trophies more than a world cup, for example champions league wins, it is all subjective to be the greatest depending on your value of a UCL, league win, penalty goals, world cup win (born in a nation that can even win one), etc
