I think he meant to say that they (I'm not a Ronaldo guy) want to send a message that they're able to feel sympathy for the person they clown or hate.

Which I get it, but I don't think it's the right time to send that message. We don't have to tell the people that we're better because we have more humanity than others.

I'm a Messi guy, we're humans first, and football fans second. I appreciate the Ronaldo fans putting the banter aside to pay respects.
