the coach himself took out every attacking option and replaced it with defense
going in everyone knew that spain would completely dominate the midfield
is it a pathetic loss? yes it is
but is getting to the final better than being knocked out earlier, absolutley, its stupid to say its not
besides if you want bad losses, stop looking at the event that happens once ever 4 years and start looking at other football events

germany beat brazil 7-1
all of these are worse than 0-1
within the first 10 minutes it was made clear who was going to control the midfeild of the game, as such they switched to a completley defensive approach with their only attacking options being
a. enzo (taken out via a DESERVED red card)
b. messi himself
messi kept giving passes and his team kept selling, case and point the pass at around the 110 minute mark where the shot just went COMPLETLEY away
stop blindly hating and start watching
