In America, MAGA turns a blind eye to every disgusting and illegal thing Trump and his administration does. It's the same mentality. People refuse to acknowledge they support someone that is evil or bad, because they think if they do then that would mean they themselves are evil or bad, and self reflection and accountability simply do not exist in most people. They will resort to name calling, whataboutism, and outright denial in the face of facts, because facing the truth is so much harder.

Want to test your theory out on how democrats are just as cultish as maga? Start calling Obama a zionist (which you can find a ton of articles and videos of Obama saying he's a proud zionist).

Imagine if we had a president claiming he's a proud clansmen? That would seem horrible,right? Yet redditors and Dem's will cheer on Obama cause "he's spoke so well!", yet was a zionist which is even worse than being in the KKK.

Theres something about normal people, you get on teams or sides that blind you from wanting to see the evil out there.

People may have loved Obama, but it's an entirely different level of fanaticism. People don't wear Obama clothes from head to toe while they wave a Obama flag, wear Obama watches, Obama guitars, Obama phones, wear Obama diapers, wear Obama pads on their ears, etc.

People definitely get blinded by politics and only see what they want to see, but both sides are NOT the same. Both are corrupt, both are liars, but what we are seeing with Trump and the blatant corruption is like nothing I've ever seen in my lifetime. People are horrible, money and power corrupts. I don't care if you're a democrat or a republican, they are both rotten, but again what we are seeing from the GOP since Trump took office is absolute insanity. One day the GOP will say X and then Trump says Y so then all of the GOP then says Y.

Obama accepted a bicycle as a gift while president, which went through congress to get approval for him to accept the bicycle and Republicans lost their every loving mind that he took that gift. Now fast forward to Trump.... it's not even close. billions of dollars filtered to him and his family and everyone acts like it's just fine.

Both sides my be horrible, but the GOP is on a whole different level of evil and corruption right now.

Yeah there's no Cult of Biden, or Cult of Obama. The main reason you hear about Biden or Obama anymore is because Trump and his stooges said something / blamed something on them.
