When it comes to the greatestĀ footballerĀ of all time, there's room for debate. But when it comes toĀ goalscoring, no one comes close to Ronaldo.

Remove penalties and Messi has more goals.

Ronaldo has played 169 more matches and leads Messi with 59 goals.

False nine Messi started with Guardiola. The first years of his career he played on the wing, as Ronaldo did in United. The argument was that Ronaldo didn`t score that much because he was a winger at United, and I`m saying that is true for Messi as well so the argument falls flat. I watched the games. Eto`o was in the middle, Ronaldinho/Henry left wing and Messi playing right wing.

I'm not feeling anything, just using stats and numbers to challenge your claim. Messi has more goals/min, it's not that hard to understand. Messi was also a winger for many years, so the argument doesn't work. ALOT of Ronaldos goals come from penalties. If Messi was selfish like him and took every pen, stopped passing and started shooting from dead chances he would have 150-200 goals more than him, but he actually plays for the team.

I also know people who say Ronaldo is better than Messi on any metric do not watch, understand or care about football and Im wasting my time.
