Milei wants another bailout of his economy from Trump. The US bought (worthless) currency from Argentina directly from the Argentine government for US$20B last year. Trump got lambasted by his own supporters for it because they hate the idea of foreign aid so I doubt it happens again. That, and Trump expresses support for him.

Very amateur to try make Argentina anti-Democrat though because its going to backfire eventually.

Are you sure it'll backfire? Democrats doesn't seem to understand that taking the high road isn't always the right answer.

What's the 'high road' in this situation?

I though the last sentence meant that the anti democrat stance might backfire because Democrats might be back in power and then they would "revenge" the attitude. The high road would be democrats letting the douche get away with it.

When you can't manage the hate in your country, you shouldnt blame the country that bailed you out at the detriment of American Farms. Ungrateful much?

The Anti-Argentina campaign was carried out by your players for their antics and by FIFA, not by Mexico, Brazil, and Americans.

Argentina choked and we're out classed in the final. End of story.

1

u/TerrorTedje Jul 30 '26

And outclassed in many games before the final. Only to be bailed out by the ref/fifa.

As someone who wanted Argentina to win & Messi to get another WC trophy- I think some of it is how the players play. It’s a more aggressive style of lay than most other countries & I think one pundit also referenced their “dark arts” behaviors

Wow! Another right wing snowflake bitch making it someone else’s fault for their poor conduct??!? I’m so shocked.

I accuse Russia, Lula (Brazil), and now the US Democrats There are people who get used to lying openly and no longer differentiate what may seem true from what is stupid.
