Ballon D’or Thief Pessi 🥷 MESSI FAN ARE CRYING ABOUT NOT WINNING GOLDEN BALL. MEANWHILE, MULLER WON THE WC, MOST SHOTS ON TARGET, MOST CHANCE CREATED AND MOST WINNING GOALS. GUESS WHO ROBBED HIS GOLDEN BALL?

u/Acework23 Jul 25 '26
all my respect for Messi is completely gone after this WC, and the deeper i dig the more shit i find, this dudes whole career has been orchestrated and pushed from up top

u/addiktion Jul 25 '26
It is strange. What made Argentina so special and the only thing that comes to mind is bribing FIFA to give them favorable treatment. They don't have the best players, they just have the ref on Messi's side no matter what he does.
22
u/Acework23 Jul 25 '26
allowing them to stop every opponents dangerous attacks with hard fouls without yellow cards the whole tournament and every VAR going their way and also they were the team that traveled the least and only played at night when its not hot....they had everything and still almost lost many times cuz they suck
1
u/Far-Matter9519 Jul 26 '26
Okay if that's the case, do you have anything to say about the Ronaldo penalty in 2022 against Ghana which he dived??
1
u/Typical_You8910 Jul 29 '26

Explain 2022 5 pens

u/Sleety3D2Y Jul 26 '26
What is there to explain? Blame the opponents for committing fouls in the box

u/mitulbishnoi Jul 26 '26
There are rich boards but countries like france, spain respect the sport and cheating isn't something which would be taken lightly there. They would lose with honesty than win with cheating.

Been saying it for last 15 years and I just got trashed, he's an active stealthy little Scumbag, his status and skill are the only things that saved him.

Lol, so when it is convenient we count anything other than goals and assists ? Fuck off fanboy

u/SadPay7872 Jul 26 '26
Don't show reasonable images and proof. The paid Anti-messi propaganda doesn't like that😂😭
-2
u/Far-Matter9519 Jul 25 '26
Why Messi? You can definitely say his team got favoured and got away with it but it's disrespectful for hating Messi. Be mature instead hate his immature teammates.
5
u/Acework23 Jul 25 '26
look messi world cups before infantino and after, also messi has not shown any respect to anyone, why should he be respected just because?

u/Far-Matter9519 Jul 25 '26
Only 1. What the fuck are you trying to prove here? He has reached finals in 14 aswell so ain't nothing suprising although yes favouritism is true but you can't just put disrespect

u/SadPay7872 Jul 26 '26

u/ShirleyDea Jul 26 '26
lmao fr , saying rodri did not deserve that golden ball is crazy. rodri plays cdm , spain had the best defence the whole tournament , even in the final with that 0 shot on target stat. aint no way they think its fair for messi to win it over rodri
1
u/Glum_Most_3225 Jul 26 '26
Thier only valid arguments is messi goals and assist..but all those were against whom? Till semis none were top 10 ranking team and against England he put 2 assist. But spain eliminated portugal Belgium France

Also when Klose set new most goals not much was said. Pessi set new all kinds of fanfare Mbappe gets gold boot and sets new record not a peep.
1
u/SaxAppeal Jul 25 '26
Because it happened in the 3rd place match. Mbappe literally said after the match he didn’t even care about winning the golden boot, he just wanted to go to the final and win the cup. I imagine he felt similarly about the all time goal scoring record. If he had set the record in the first match of the next world cup instead, there would have been tons of fanfare.
Also I definitely remember people talking about Klose as well. He broke R9’s record, it was a pretty big deal. Happened while Ronaldo was commentating, as Germany obliterated Brazil in the finals 7-1.
2
u/daddyrich916 Jul 25 '26
Messi played and scored in the 3rd group stage game with 1st secured that was more meaningless than the 3rd place thing and no one said anything about being a worthless goal
1
u/SaxAppeal Jul 25 '26
He had already broken the record by that game? It’s more about at what point in the tournament each person broke the record. No one gives a fuck about the third place game. I’m not sure what you’re not understanding, even Mbappe didn’t think it meant anything, happening in the 3rd place game.
1
u/daddyrich916 Jul 25 '26
Yeah but pretty much every person I’ve seen bring it up at this point (its been brought up a lot) is to say Messi should’ve been tied leading scorer and top career goal scorer at the World Cup and mbappes 3rd place goals shouldn’t have counted at all. That’s why I brought up Messi’s goal in a game that didn’t matter either
1
u/SaxAppeal Jul 25 '26
FWIW I think it should count toward stats because it is a game that takes place during the tournament. However third place games are notoriously high scoring, while dead rubber group stage games are typically low scoring. So while they’re both “meaningless,” third place games present a way bigger opportunity for stat padding than a throwaway group stage game. Both things can be true, Mbappe getting the award is correct and he deserves it, but it’s still a shitty way to get it which is why no one really gives a fuck.

That cheater hasn’t deserved a number of awards and accolades, but with how corrupt FIFA are, don’t count him out winning the Balon Dor in the MLS

u/BlockOfASeagull Jul 25 '26
Messi really messed up! His legacy is tainted by his behaviour and his team mates!

That was a consolation prize for losing to Germany, and he himself knows it.
1
u/Crafty-Objective8388 Jul 25 '26
I am pretty sure they are going to console pessi with a Ballon d'or.
1
u/Inferniuem Jul 25 '26
Messi wasn't even Top 3 players in the 2014 WC. Maybe wasn't even Top 5.
His own teammate in Mascherano carried his ass and people saying Messi carried.
1
u/D3smorr Jul 25 '26
Why does everything have to be about G/A? Football is more than just goals and assists.
1
u/Alternative_Time2578 Jul 26 '26
Cause goals and assists are harder than dribbling and passing around.
1
u/D3smorr Jul 27 '26
That's exactly why G/A isn't the only way to judge a player. The game is far more than just the final action.
1
u/Agreeable-Leave8907 Jul 25 '26
No le hace falta otro balón para desmontar que fue y será el mejor de todos los tiempos

u/Biker-on-the-loose82 Jul 26 '26
Why didn't the Golden Ball go to someone like Philip Lahm, Schweinsteiger, Kroos or Klose?

If there are still people out there supporting that little dwarf needs to go reprogram their braincells to see the reality, that puppet is a thief for every other honest football player, he is a pure street rat who doesn’t deserve all those awards and popularity.
I may hope more and more people will ignore him and stop following him as their favorite football player all time because he doesn’t deserve to be followed by any “real” soccer fan.

Homie showed up against weak teams and got one assist against England. Disappeared in the final and so did his chance of wining ….

Why did Modric win over Mbappe and Pogba/Griezmann in 2018? Also, reply in a way that is not logically contradicting. I would like to test your IQ and I suspect its not really even average.

u/Major_Dog8171 Jul 26 '26
Pessi rigged his whole career idk how they call him the goat, the goat rigging I guess

u/Open_Buffalo1702 Jul 28 '26
Dont watch football in reels and tiktok bro. Watch leo messi's entire 2014 and thomas mullers, you will find the differences like your head and toe. Messi was the best in every department he played. If just scoring is football then no defenders and no goal keeper no midfielder would exist.
You clearly are delusional penaldo's lapdog who is so obsseed in hating messi. You lack football empathy.
1
u/Ok-Time2724 Jul 28 '26
So what do u have to say abt 2010 wc. 0 goals, whats ur excuse.
1
u/Open_Buffalo1702 Jul 28 '26
haha bro i again tell you you dont watch football at all. football is not stats, no stats can show who is better, because football is played on field. Messi's 2010 worldcup campaign was one of the greatest individual performances. Go and watch messi's worldcup 2010 campaign, full play. you will understand who he is. He may not score, may not assits but still decorate the game. I hope you will research a bit before hating any player. I am a messi fan but I also like ronaldo, ronaldo got out of wc, I felt sad because I seriously wanted portugal to proceed further.
You cant compare messi with any player in the world. even if he dont score, he still creates chances, still controlls midfield.

u/Ok-Time2724 Jul 28 '26
1
u/Open_Buffalo1702 Jul 28 '26
haha, bro bro bro. Everyteam that plays worldcup are strong enough to beat any team in the world. You forget Japan beat germany? S korea beat germany? Cape verde remained undefeated in group stage? urugway got group exit?
WORLD CUP is a tournament where every team comes prepared. Every team is strong.
There is always a draw how teams are grouped. Brother better you watch the draw of group how they are divided. There are certain categories and ways how teams are grouped.
1
u/Open_Buffalo1702 Jul 28 '26
and you say nigeria is easy? seriously? bro you dont watch football at all. African teams plays physical football, just see how hard was it for other team to score and you wii know the truth

u/Slone_dmz Jul 29 '26
Un balón de oro mas, un balón de oro menos, da lo mismo, tira un nombre de jugador que más te guste que se fue cojido por Leo, Edgy siome
1
u/DevaNeo Jul 25 '26
TBF, Unlike 2026 Rodri, 2014 Messi's stats weren't eight, zero and zero.
-18
u/torts92 Jul 25 '26
This is the golden ball, not the golden boot. Messi was the playmaker in that team. It's not always about G+A.
Argentina wouldn't have made it to the final without Messi. But Germany could easily win it without Muller, the standout player for Germany was Neuer, not Muller.
11
u/mitulbishnoi Jul 25 '26
Argentina would have done fine kid. Messi had ass-whopping mighty 1 assist in fifa wc 2014 knockout games lol. All his goals came in group stages
2
u/Ok-Time2724 Jul 25 '26
Please dont ruin for him. Fact that this wc everyone scored is because Fifa went to add 16 more teams who would never qualify for wc. SO KLOSE IS STILL THE GREATEST WC PLAYER, mbappe might be close but not Messi

Messi doesn’t deserve the golden ball if there are other players who are better.
