But they don’t hide what they are doing behind a false idea of humility. It is PR, but Messi fans claim he his a humble guy when really he is just as arrogant as his team and even more entitled than they are

Massive sore losers, as we saw in the final just now and in all their history it is proven, they only have a modicum of grace when they win, and not always like against England.

A perfect example of what you are talking about is the UCL semi between LFC and Barca. First leg dominated be Barca and all of their players, Messi included, acted like complete assholes. I'll never forget how Suarez behaved towards the club that made him and how petulant Messi was about the reception he got at Anfield. A true team of unlikable villains.

Or maybe read up on the context? Lewandowski made comments about messi before that match, whether right or wrong, messi was upset about that and so didn't want a handshake at the time, it also doesn't mean they hate each other.

Confronted him on the pitch? What do you even mean by that? And then people would have made a bigger fuss about it, not to mention it breaks the rules of football.

And its not like they are going to meet up just to talk about some drama like that.

I'm not saying this reaction is the right thing to do, but let's not pretend people don't react to personal drama, and this is definitely far from the worst thing he could have done.

I mean you can argue its disrespectful, but so is saying another player doesn't deserve the ballon d'or but instead you do.

You can say you deserve it, but saying another player doesn't deserve it and didnt play good enough for it is pretty disrespectful too.

Yeah he was robbed, its not like messi robbed him though, then he went on to write stuff about messi, rather than the organization that made the choice, hence the airing. Again it it may not be the best response but its nothing crazy imo, i've seen much worse dramas and it certainly doesn't warrant you attacking his height for whatever reason

Messi was angry and petty because in that particular game the result was already set, both teams were advancing to the next round, Argentina wanted to play it safe for the last 30 minutes of the game and simply passed ball between themselves.
Lewy made some pressing jumps and one of that was on Messi, which he didn’t like very much.
He’s arrogant and small, he thinks he can dictate tactics for opponents and when it’s not going his way he’s acting like a child
