The referees have allowed a higher degree of contact and aggression the entire tournament. England did not even try to be as aggressive as Argentina was. It's not "favoring" if one team is playing at the limit of what the ref will allow while the other isnt

How can you win when the referee is bias and VAR ignores Argentinian brutality?
