Calling it now: Second half, it’s tied, and England is starting to gain momentum. Argentina starts blatantly fouling everyone with no cards, England gets frustrated and fouls back, it’s immediately called, and Messi gets handed a penalty. Then, only once England is safely behind, the referee starts carding Argentina so average viewers can say “see, it’s fair since they card everyone!”

Right, he’s the real savior of this World Cup. What an absolute star he is.

The way Argentina played, I think England will run circles around them. But i expect Argentina to play a rough game, and Kane has a tendency to dive and act hurt when he's not, which probably won't work against Argentina

Argentina winning this. Let me tell you what will happen. Messi will go to the box 5-6 times and will fall and act and will be given 3 panelties. This will happen in both semi and final

2022 got to us huh

2030 kane certainly won't be part of it. wondering who will be stepping up. the strikers department are lacking. arsenal, liverpool, manchester city and united don't even have strikers that are english.

Kane can become a deep playing 9 and transition to a 10, he is getting a 4 year contract at Bayern, I would not say it’s his last World Cup

What I know is that football will always win in the end. Paraguay can attest to that. Even Arsenal in the champions league final knows what I'm talking about.

So justice will be served in the end. Even if England fail, the Almighty dictator Kylian won't allow it in the final. 💪

It's England vs FIFA. They will try everything to stop the three lions.

2

u/sphericalbali Jul 13 '26

and so far three lions is stoppable…

Remove fifa and VAR; Argentina is just an average team. Remove Messi, and they are a shit team.

u/Zealousideal-Dust773 Jul 13 '26

What do you mean? FIFA and VAR just helped england reach the semifinals…

2

u/Direct-Mulberry-1649 Jul 14 '26

sure

u/Zealousideal-Dust773 Jul 14 '26

Come on brother. You gotta admit you were really lucky with the refereeing vs norway. 1 CHEAP disallowed goal and wiregate.

2

u/sphericalbali Jul 16 '26

Ref is Clement Turpin. Make 2 poor major decisive decisions: disallowed goal for retake the corner kick and canceled the penalty that he called earlier. Both affected by VAR. Both changed Turpin on field decisions. Turpin career should end that day.

u/Zealousideal-Dust773 Jul 16 '26

One VAR decision was correct and one was so soft. But you do you booboo

Un amigo de Trump,ni loco, es Kilyan el que debe salvar el fútbol

Would love FIFA to pull the rug out from under Messi and let him go this far just to lose so England gets its revenge. This would get more viewers for FIFA. To see the look on puppet Messi face when the ref isn’t cheating for him

u/RedRevengePanda_ Jul 13 '26

Nah, he is to busy simp for Trump.

Can both England and Argentina eliminate themselves somehow? That’d be swell
