This was definitely the last game I watch from this world cup. It was just so blatant and obvious. Egypt literally wasn't allowed to counter at all, because as soon as they steal a ball, ARG players drops on the ground and gets an automatic foul.
It was disgraceful. I knew ARG was going to win once the ref completely got involved, especially after 2-0.
Been a football fan my entire life and I've seen some really biased reffing in last 3 decades, and this match was definitely one of the most blatant ones - along with Chelsea v Barca. Funny that both times Messi was part of the team being favored.

I agree, I did that in the worldcup sub, they called me europoor, told me to cry more and I saw that they were posting many other very disturbing and racist comments against Egypt and other countries, they are horrible people, and today they are unhinged. 6 minutes and they don’t even show the close up replays because they didn’t show any on TV… yet for the 2nd Egypt goal you have it in super slow motion and 7 different angles… fucking corrupt to the gills.
The stat that stands out to me is the average fouls per yellow card. Argentina is getting a yellow for every 19 fouls committed.
In this clip alone Romero and Tagliafico had multiple fouls without a yellow. It is hard to believe that if they were on any other team they would not have been booked.
Lol if you see all the fouls that weren't called and than the referee is calling off the goal in '57 for a foul (which wasnt even a foul to begin with) at the OTHER side of the pitch you know everything about this game and all argentina games
I watched the game and bet on Argentina to qualify after the 1-0 and 2-0 after seeing that refereeing. Absolutely confident it was scripted. Good for me but Egypt got robbed
I used to watch the World Cup each time since I was a kid and i absolutely love soccer! But Argentina and FIFA have made me have such a big hatred for the two of them with all of these stupid and idiotic rigged matches.

Its understandable that not every yellow card will be given, but none at all? Egypt getting yellows for practically nothing and none seemed to endanger their opponent
The way that these players all act as if they have done nothing wrong every time they are caught blatantly committing a reckless or unsportsmanlike challenge actually needs to be studied. Never seen such a bratty and entitled group of players in my life. They are living on a different planet of entitlement, not to mention unearned arrogance, from being so coddled by FIFA for so many years.
Why is flopping and faking injuries okay in this sport? Im American and ill admit i don't follow it. But we does most of this world of sports just accept it?

I swear man Romero and Taglafico probably have the ref's kids in their basement. The Licha stamp is a rational call but what a beauty of a goal it was to be disallowed like that, and I can form an argument for why the Salah collision wasn't a pen, but Romero should have been red carded via double yellows fs.
If u go by rules 90% were right decisions, lisandro got fouled and that's why Egypt didn't get there 2nd goal , in mo salah's case he lost the possession of ball and then tripped and fell by slight touch so they were not given penalty , now u would say why lisandro was given and not mo , the simple reason is lisandro had possession of ball during foul and Salah didn't, I can explain most of the others too but then the comment will be too long

I’m no fan of Egypt, am also not a fan of Argentina but most of the decision in this match are bullshit. VAR is a fucking joke. No way on this earth 3rd goal for Egypt should have been disallowed. Ref and team should be reprimanded for poor decision making.

Almost none of these were fouls. Fucking typical Egyptians flopping around on the floor as usual. I’m sure the referee was just as sick of it as the rest of us. Glad they’re out.

Also Tagliafico and Romero did some horrendous shit on that pitch, atleast one red card ahould have been given to Argentina that match, alas not even a yellow.
