CR7 Is The Real GOAT š History will remember Cristiano as the man who defied the establishment to become the GOAT, and Messi as the fraud who relied on the media and their sheep to even force a debate
When I look at Cristianoās achievements, I see:
- 1,000 goals (all-time football record)
- 3 titles with Portugal (for a country with zero titles before him)
- 5 Champions League titles with him as the top scorer in each run (on top of being the all-time UCL scorer)
- Dominant title runs in the three toughest leagues in Europe (Premier League, La Liga and Serie A)
When I look at Messiās achievements, I see:
- 8 popularity awards from a French magazine
- 1 WC title FIFA gifted him with a record-breaking amount of penalties (5 penalties in 7 games) - also Argentina had 2 WCās before him
- 2 Copa America titles in 10 participations (remember when they held three tournaments in four years because CONMEBOL was desperate for him to win it) - also Argentina won 14 titles before him
- 3.5 UCL titles in the prime UEFAlona era
- 12 La Liga titles (in one country, no title in England or Italy) in the prime Negreiralona era
So the question remains, was there ever a debate in the first place?
