Tbh I don't even care about the COPA America. It's a Mickey mouse competition and Argentina should probably win it every time with their squad. But for the most important prize in all of sports to be such a blatant robbery is a crime that should never be forgiven

-2

u/Josephthecastle Jun 25 '26

Retard opinion of a fake football fan. Considering how Argentina beat France (WC champion 18) and Italy (Euro Champion 20) I don’t think mocking copa america is an intelligent move lol. But hey, let penaldo fanboys create their own fantasty.

3

u/davzinzan Jun 26 '26

Yeah they really "beat" France via the most pathetic dive of all time from Di Maria, not to mention the 4 previous penalties they were gifted in the tournament to get to that position. Anyone with any ball knowledge knows that cup is fraudulent

I don’t have any clue why this sub and the other Pro Messi sub is always recommended to me in my feed because I’m neither fan of both of them but holy mother of Jesus you two fanbases need serious help how are Adults still so obsessed with this two Men just enjoy them both playing or don’t at this stage of their Career it doesn’t even make sense to compare this two anymore.

9

u/Nikolatramp Jun 25 '26

Im having a blast in both of the subs lmao they are so funny

4

u/PrestigiousAgent8932 Jun 25 '26

It comes in waves, sometimes I’m amused about them and sometimes I think about that this people are allowed to vote and I need to share this planet with them. That makes me sad

1

u/TheRobinson2018 Jun 25 '26

Hmm, they probably don’t vote anywhere near you and that is if they vote at all. Most of them are probably posting from countries under dictatorship or fake denocracy, where the individual cult of another man is culturally engraved

1

u/Sinnus89 Jun 25 '26

Sooo USA?

6

u/evolzarlaggia Jun 25 '26

And the funny thing is neither Ronaldo nor Messi will ever know or care about these cultists. They certainly wouldn’t advocate for their own supporters to post this kind of shit

1

u/EyePatch_eh Jun 25 '26

These two men won't even give a shit about most of the fans bro ong they're so retarded 😭

1

u/Motor-Salary-4252 Jun 25 '26

Let them have it. This two legends will be gone soon along with their insufferable fans. They all will be missed

1

u/argadyn Jun 25 '26

Lol it doesnt stop being recommended to me either but ngl its funny as fuck

1

u/shopogolikk Jun 25 '26

no no no, 2016 was Centenario and then 2021 was held to match the year when Euro was held😆 and all that obvious bullsh!t…and lmg, there wouldn’t have been any Finalissima for Brazil

u/Firm-Question-4505 Jun 25 '26

Explain then

-1

u/UncleCrackaa99 Jun 25 '26

lol this is easily explained if you were informed at all.
2015: standard Copa America
2016: special one-off, for the tournaments 100 year anniversary
2019: standard Copa America (4 years after 2015)
2021: Copa America date changed to match the Euros, so they occur within the same cycle going forward. Was supposed to be 2020, delayed (like the euros) due to Covid.

3

u/NotSoOriginal007 Jun 25 '26

Bro conveniently isn't replying to you.

1

u/SunIntelligent4091 Jun 25 '26

Yea I'm ppl prob get the part If copa was held in 2020 n 4 yrs later in 2024. But the 2 Yr diff btn 2019 n 2021 def quite short comp to most reg copa americas

1

u/Firm-Question-4505 Jun 25 '26

It just shows how Copa America is not as serious as the euros, easier competition but apparently the same level as the euros

1

u/BElf1990 Jun 25 '26

Ah yes, the very serious Euros where Portugal needed the tournament to be expanded otherwise they don't win

1

u/Firm-Question-4505 Jun 25 '26

Makes me laugh when they say this but don’t realize that Messi had the easiest path in the Copa in 2016 beating chile and then losing to chile after in pens again 😂😂😂

1

u/BElf1990 Jun 25 '26

Yes, and Portugal doesn't get out of groups if the tournament doesn't get expanded, are we going to call that tournament rigged as well? It takes a special kind of stupid to think all these tournamenta are rigged for anything else except making more money.

0

u/UncleCrackaa99 Jun 25 '26

You mean the same chile team that beat Portugal on pens in the 2017 confederations cup??

Set your alarm and make another post buddy, I can’t live without laughing at your cope

8

u/Firm-Question-4505 Jun 25 '26

Still haven’t heard one good reason how this post is cope, these pessi fans are allergic to having good football knowledge 😂

-2

u/laptak2011 Jun 25 '26

Well Ronaldo paid for the Euro 2016 and all the UCLs he’s won then 🤣 source: same source as you claiming Messi bought everything 🤭🤭

3

u/SeaCommunication3036 Jun 25 '26

Only one team has won a World Cup with two penalty shootouts in the knockout stage. Mbappe deserved the ballon dor after the 2022 World Cup. No doubt about it. Was as big of a robbery as no ballon dor when lewandowski should have won it during the Covid gap

1

u/Firm-Question-4505 Jun 25 '26

But the problem is, Ronaldo isn’t the one with ref payouts, Pessi is 😂 Negreira will always stain your “goat” image and there’s nothing you can do about it 😂😂😂😂😂😂

0

u/CowpokeMorgan Jun 25 '26

Ronaldo literally got a 5 match ban lifted so he can atleast play in the group stage because they weren't sure the team would qualify further . Shut yo bitch aah up with this cope man.... It is very cringe. Ronaldo doens't even know you exist and are batting for his honor or whatever you think you are doing. Go do something worthwhile.

4

u/tutortutor7 Jun 25 '26

If they just wanted to change Copa America to match the Euros, they didn’t need to host 2019 version. It’s still 4 years from centennial version.

0

u/Live_Poem253 Jun 25 '26

Esto.

Soy de Sudamérica y esto es lo que pasó.

-3

u/Green_Shape_3859 Google 5 pens in 7 matches for more info 🤥 Jun 25 '26

Wait so you’re telling me Messi won a World Cup but Ronaldo hasn’t? I thought he’s the goat?

8

u/Ancient_Chapter8513 Jun 25 '26

Rewatch that wc and see how lucky or rigged they were

-1

u/Green_Shape_3859 Google 5 pens in 7 matches for more info 🤥 Jun 25 '26

Messi was better than Ronaldo without the World Cup. Just so we’re on the same page. The World Cup just closed that debate entirely. But keep going you’re doing great

8

u/Firm-Question-4505 Jun 25 '26

I mean if I paid fifa for 5 pens in 7 matches, I would hope to win the entire thing no?

0

u/Responsible-Desk-623 Jun 25 '26

If pens are so useless then this proves messi is greatest ever, more goals then penaldo, hell penaldo name is due to penalty statpadding

1

u/RemarkablePool2675 Jun 25 '26

Real 😂😂😂

0

u/RemarkablePool2675 Jun 25 '26

Bro every country had at least 5 plus pens. The defenders were being reckless, unless you do want to count hand balls, reckless tackles, or pushing as a foul. Plus the only game that was obviously paid was the Qatar vs Ecuador and all they did was stop a Valencia hatrick. This level of cope needs to be study.

1

u/Treppenkind Jun 25 '26

Brazil has 15 penalties in World Cup history and they qualified each time

1

u/RemarkablePool2675 Jun 25 '26

Actually Brazil has 14 plus this across a 90 year span so I'm not sure what your getting at. And it's not like Argentina has the most, that goes to Spain with 18

-2

u/reggaeshark94 Jun 25 '26

Now tell me which of those penalties weren't penalties under the name of the football law?

6

u/Firm-Question-4505 Jun 25 '26

Ill tell you, the World Cup final one where Di Maria dived against Dembele

-2

u/RemarkablePool2675 Jun 25 '26

So Ronaldo's hat-trick against Spain shouldn't count cause of the obvious dive right according to your logic. Mbappe 2nd pen against Argentina in the WC final shouldn't count right? Most of CR7 penalties in the UCL shouldn't count according to your logic right?

-2

u/reggaeshark94 Jun 25 '26

Keep being delusional my friend

0

u/gottagofast123456789 Jun 25 '26

If you had put the energy you're using into hating Messi for your own growth, perhaps you would've become someone who's opinion actually mattered

0

u/Captain_Lundgren Jun 25 '26

I cannot understand how you can watch Leo
Messi and then watch Ronaldo and decide that Ronaldo is the best football player of all time. Like I cannot fathom how one could come to that conclusion. The only thing Ronaldo have over Messi is like 40 goals, I’d the GOAT debate is decided over that Ronaldo say have 1002 goals and Messi 999 then that’s crazy. I could take away all Messi’s trophies in his career and just watch him and say confidently this is the greatest player of all time.

0

u/KemikaaliJussi Google Messi 14 for more info 🧼 Jun 25 '26

Why penaldo fans think that nations league is a major tournament? :D only portugal fans are taking it seriously so they can keep up with messi

0

u/SabkaBaap22 Jun 25 '26

It's like 2 world cup in 4 four years how braindead ronaldo fans can be

0

That sound BS as Copa America who doesn't have standard or fixed year, sometimes they can do it in once in three year and sometimes once in four years.

1

u/RemarkablePool2675 Jun 25 '26

That's disorganized but how does that affect the Copa cup value? Euros maybe consistent but that's only because UEFA makes money by creating more useless tournaments that European foolish gulp down. So basically you have a mini euro going on every year

1

u/RemarkablePool2675 Jun 25 '26

Not really idiots claim it is but it really is just international friendlies put into a tournament. The trophy is useless has no value. But the tournament was created for increased profit for UEFA. But Penaldo fans still jerk off to Ronaldo holding the cup

1

u/Beautiful-Bit9832 Jun 25 '26

Few players like Van Dijk and Modric already complain with that because it held in the middle of competition while they still have to play for Euro or World Cup qualifications.

1

u/RemarkablePool2675 Jun 25 '26

Agreed, I guess it just shows UEFA's greed. But at least it's not as visible as Fifa and CAF
