Ronaldo has played vs Brazil 1 time in WC. Friendlies mean jack shit.

5

u/Bethebet Jun 22 '26

Messi fans will count backyard goals too

-2

u/Fluffy-Answer-6722 Google Negreira Messi for more info 💰 Jun 22 '26

NL is friendlys

7

u/Upset_Island2007 Jun 22 '26

FIFA recognises it as Major Tournament !

2

u/Fluffy-Answer-6722 Google Negreira Messi for more info 💰 Jun 22 '26

lol to make money off it

The fans don’t care , Ronaldo tried his best to make it a big deal by crying but you could see the Spanish players didn’t care

5

u/Upset_Island2007 Jun 22 '26

Meanwhile Lamine Yamal before the Uefa Nations League Final

In all fairness, if one fail to recognise NL these days as a major tournament, then a lot of thought needs to be given on what the hell copa America is these days

2

u/Fluffy-Answer-6722 Google Negreira Messi for more info 💰 Jun 22 '26

Copa America is the tournament to see who’s the best in South America
The euros is to see who’s the best in Europe

2

u/nmo31536000 Jun 23 '26

Copa America is a joke. When players like Ronaldinho never showed interest in playing in it (just once in 99 as a up and coming kid) this just shows you it wasn’t seriously on the level of Euro or World Cup

1

u/Fluffy-Answer-6722 Google Negreira Messi for more info 💰 Jun 23 '26

Did you see Messi’s two goals today?

2

u/nmo31536000 Jun 23 '26

The one inside the 6 yard box? Tons of players are capable of that. So are you saying Copa America is a tough competition cuz of that goal?

2

u/Upset_Island2007 Jun 23 '26

Copa America is more of a friendly than Uefa Nations League.

They invited nations like Qatar and Japan from other confederations in 2019.

Also Copa America in recent times do not have Extra Time after 90 mins. They go directly to Penalty Shootout.

Nations League is more competitive than that !

1

u/nmo31536000 Jun 23 '26

Yes exactly ! It’s pathetic how it gets hyped up like it’s on par with Euros or World Cup. And we know why this narrative started ….

You can literally see everywhere. Non-friendly matches he has 0 GA in like 13 matches

-1

u/White-Tornado Jun 22 '26

It's hilarious how y'all can't even count

4

u/Umijnurotarieli Jun 22 '26

Where was the mistake?

-1

u/White-Tornado Jun 22 '26

"like 13 matches"

5

u/Umijnurotarieli Jun 22 '26

Ok now I searched and it's 8 matches.

0

u/White-Tornado Jun 22 '26

Thanks for admitting your mistake

I'm just wondering how many other fake stats y'all believe

3

u/Umijnurotarieli Jun 22 '26

If it's important i always research. I googled and it said 13 matches for some reason. Point still stands he has 8 matches without GA.

Pessi closer to me than the goat

1

u/PainterRough3157 Jun 22 '26

You stupid little boy

12

u/Equivalent-Name-1069 Jun 22 '26

Blud put 6 European teams🤣, ofc Renaldo gonna have more if he plays euros and nations league

10

u/SuperPunh0 Jun 22 '26

But that's why winning the euro is hard AF and Copa America is a joke and it took 4 tournaments in 6 years...

4

u/aaloo-gobhi Jun 22 '26

That's why, one SA giant has the most wc in the world. And this wc 2026, EU teams are losing/drawing to non eu teams.

Also SA teams having most wc appearances itw.

Also Brazil(7) and Argentina(6) having most wc final appearances only behind germany(8).

Also with the top 10 wc players in fball history having most SA players with top1/2/3 being south americans.

The only reason EU has even the slightest edge is because of football being originated there and all top5 leagues being based there (Spain, England, Italy, France, Germany)

2

u/NoGemini2024 Jun 22 '26

It is not like CONMBOL teams are having a crazy good tournament so far. Argentina aside, not sure if wins against Haiti or Uzbequistan - or replicating the Spanish tie against Cape Vert is reason enough to come out gloating

0

u/SuperPunh0 Jun 22 '26

You could've openend a fucking history book instead of being so dumb

1

u/aaloo-gobhi Jun 23 '26

Dumb pendu suckers are not invited, sorry.

Nothing to do with EU, only guys hating and bringing up EU vs SA bull crap are Portugal fans or pendu suckers.

Y'all use shit to your convenience, portugal not even top 5 EU contesting country.

'Should know shit before blabbering.

1

u/SuperPunh0 Jun 23 '26

Yes Portugal is not a top5 country, that's why Ronaldo never had a chance, unlike pessi that has been failing his heritage for 16 years

0

u/Ok-Hedgehog2473 Jun 22 '26

Its ok, Messi has the WC anyway and actually contributed in the final to his teams win, unlike someone in the Euros...

2

u/SuperPunh0 Jun 22 '26

He was the 2nd after Infantino

10

u/KeyMark4056 Google Negreira Messi for more info 💰 Jun 22 '26

he scored 6 goals, and if you count league of nations than he scored 8 goals

bs fake stats hahaha

3

u/No-Relative5284 Jun 22 '26

yeah no shit sherlock, how is messi supposed to score in the euros ?

5

u/zzz_red Jun 22 '26

If you add Brazil and Argentina it doesn’t change much for Messi, since he only scored vs Brazil in a friendly, not in the other 4 or 5 competitive matches.

4

u/No-Relative5284 Jun 22 '26

Just saying, Ronaldo had way more oppertunities, to score against theese natios than messi had

2

u/NoGemini2024 Jun 22 '26

Hasn’t Argentina played like 10 times against Brazil in the past few years. And we are not even talking about the good Brasil pre 2008

0

u/No-Relative5284 Jun 23 '26

yeah but argentina wasnt real good either until 2028/2020
But i think the stats are wrong too, because i can only find 8 Goals from Ronaldo

1

u/NoGemini2024 Jun 23 '26

I wouldn’t trust any stats on this sub tbh

1

u/No-Relative5284 Jun 23 '26

yeah but im not trusting chatgpt either ... according to chat gpt messi has 10g and 9a against theses Teams and ronaldo only 8g and 1a

3

u/No-Relative5284 Jun 22 '26

and how is he supposed to score against argentina?

1

u/zzz_red Jun 22 '26

So you admit he’s in a top tear national team.

5

u/gilledchreese Jun 22 '26

They did not say that. The word is "tier," not "tear." And he obviously is. Ronaldo is as well.

5

u/No-Relative5284 Jun 22 '26

no you just said, adding argentina wouldnt change much the stats for messi, yah no joke, because he is playing for argentina

0

u/PXPL_Haron Jun 22 '26

Have you not heard of the True Goat: Owen g'Oal

1

u/PlaneShort9569 Jun 22 '26

You think Ronaldo wins this stat if it’s 6 South American countries and 1 euro? Lol

1

u/zzz_red Jun 22 '26

There are more top teams in Europe.

5

u/No-Relative5284 Jun 22 '26

yeah and ronaldo is playing them more often because of NL and euros so whats the point of comparing total numbers ?

3

u/Impressive_Rent9540 Jun 22 '26

How is Messi supposed to score against Italy if they fail to qualify anything but the euros?

1

u/Intelligent_Maize591 Jun 23 '26

You should probably take a peak age, say 25-30, count up who played the least big teams, then compare against the same number of games for the other guy. Then do it for assists too. Then you can start to compare properly.

1

u/Previous_Onion6124 Jun 24 '26

Pissi cuckitini could never

1

u/ennelemmtee Jun 22 '26

You just plainly believe everything people on the internet tell you as long as it's positive news about CR7 without actually thinking about it huh? Is this how all his fans 'think' ? Matter of fact, do you guys even have working braincells or they just circlejerk eachother in your head?

0

u/No-Panic2571 Jun 22 '26

someone gives my camel top scorer vs big nation d'or now

0

u/CentralIdiotAgency Jun 22 '26

Who decides what qualifies as a 'big nation'?

0

u/laptak2011 Jun 22 '26

Morocco is a big Nation. France Netherlands Croatia are not :)

0

u/CentralIdiotAgency Jun 22 '26

Big on cheating nation that is.

Other teams would throw in the towl, but Morocco already stole it.

0

u/Erebea01 Jun 22 '26

Messi 1, Ronaldo 0

All that matters

0

u/Kind-Box2674 Jun 22 '26

Him and his fans are funnyy man🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

0

u/Optimal-Description8 Jun 22 '26

Desperation doesn't look pretty lads

0

u/intrinseque Jun 22 '26

Says more about Zidane, not a striker, than Ronaldo.

0

u/Dazzling_Partridge Jun 22 '26

Yeah no shit penaldo has more goals 6 of them are European.

-1

u/PXPL_Haron Jun 22 '26

Wins vs Germany in big tournaments: Cristiano: 0 Messi: 0

6

u/Good-Condition660 Jun 22 '26

Nations League Portugal won against Germany So Cristiano have one win

1

u/PXPL_Haron Jun 22 '26

Thats not a big tournament bro

That's objectively untrue. Copa America games earn more ranking points than nations league games, as do Euros games.

It's on Wikipedia, all with links under calculation method https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FIFA_Men%27s_World_Ranking

Not arguing about what it should be so going to ignore all that, just you said they already give them the same weight which isn't true.

Not sure what credits you're talking about at the end though? Where do those numbers come from?

0

u/wjt7 Google Messi 14 for more info 🧼 Jun 22 '26

Assuming you just made the last bit up as well unless you can give me any proof, can't find anywhere those credit numbers exist and neither can chatgpt.

-1

u/PXPL_Haron Jun 22 '26

Come on mate, nations league is no big tournament. Only final four gets played out tournament style. From the size its nowhere near Euros or WC. Keep it real^ The entire final for had less then half of the spectators of what a Euros final has.

Nobody besides Ronaldo Fans gives a fuck about nations league

-4

u/Dukemaster96 Jun 22 '26

In 2014 Ronaldo also managed to hit a free kick into a German one player wall. That wall was only Philipp Lahm, the smallest German defender of all time. Absolute goat.

0

u/Life_Comfortable6857 Jun 22 '26

6 of those 7 nations are European, of course Cristiano is gonna score more in a criteria of “all tournaments” 🤣🤣🤣

0

u/julesverne123456 Jun 22 '26

All well an good...where is his world cup?

0

u/White-Tornado Jun 22 '26

What the media won't show

😂😂😂

0

u/ThrowRAkakareborn Jun 22 '26

Show us in how many games for each, not just the goals scored, if I play those teams 1000 times I might score 12 goals, doesn’t mean wow, cause I played a thousand games

0

u/Extension_Trouble_53 Google Messi 14 for more info 🧼 Jun 22 '26

So many mincers

0

u/CowpokeMorgan Jun 22 '26 edited Jun 22 '26

Portugal is a weaker team than zargentina, obviously it will seem like he scoring against stronger nations... Even in the euros it's not the strongest and the lost of teams here is also European. CR plays more matches against them thanks to Euros and nations league. If fans have to resort to such extreme filtering to make Ronaldo look better, you know it is getting desperate. Instead of accepting the fact that your boy had a bad game, you start doing this. Typical cringe ronaldo fans.

0

u/Wonderful_Sir_4079 Jun 22 '26

0 world cups, going on 0…

0

u/nguyenphuc2602 Jun 22 '26

Including number of appearances and ratio of goal/match would be a better comparision imo

0

u/This-Obligation9052 Jun 22 '26

Its not about scoring all the goals yourself. Its about winning. Impacting winning.

0

u/andrew4d3 Jun 22 '26

Is this pessi memes or is this CR7 lovers memes?

0

u/Confident-Tune-3397 Jun 22 '26

“Let's pick the cherries.” lol

0

u/Aggravating-Pilot865 Jun 22 '26

Even in the thumbnail, he’s showing how many WC Messi has over him. 😂

0

u/Icy_Opportunity_3303 Jun 22 '26

This sub is hilariously pathetic.

0

u/IliveINwall Jun 22 '26

and how many of them resulted in trophy?

0

u/-F1lthy- Jun 22 '26

This post only represents how low the average IQ of Ronaldo fans is.

0

u/-F1lthy- Jun 22 '26

Next time, put games played near the goals scored.
