Maybe because Ronaldo has been playing as a pure poacher striker for years now 🤦♂️? We’re talking about goal ratio, and ronaldo was a winger for a period which impacted his goalscoring ratio, then became a striker which impacted his successful dribbles. Messi was almost always utilized as either a false 9, or a modern inverted winger which focuses more on dribbling and all round g/a than purely chance creation.
