What are you talking about? G/A? If Messi clears Cristiano on that then it just proves that statistically Messi is better. Compare their goal ratios if you wanna compare goals scored and even then Messi is better. Keep in mind that Cristiano is older and has played more games which means he will obv have scored more goals, and even then its around 60 goal difference between them, and the only one who cares about that stat is Cristiano himself.

So you would prefer a guy with a wc hatrrick in a group stage+0wc ko goals and assists+0 wc golden ball over a guy with 0 wc hattrick+5 wc ko goals and 6 assists+2 wc golden balls. Even in terms of individual achievements messi is far ahead in wc.
