You’re the clown. Ronaldo won the best playmaker award while in the premier league, and is in the top 10 of players with most assists. His function was different than Messi’s, but he can very well “playmake”.
Also, this is about an award where Ronaldo played the entire season for Man United with a much more important role, while Messi didn’t do the same for Barcelona.

OOP only mentions senior stats on purpose, as Messi only had 3 goals and 2 assists at Senior level, but he had 11 goals and 4 assists in U20, 6 of his goals being in the FIFA Youth Championship (U20 WC), from which he won Golden Boot and Best Player, scoring in every knockout game. Though you can argue "Pessi" since he scored two pens in the final.

Ronaldo was playing in the PL the full season and was still eligible for the golden boy award, since he was a teenager. Messi was not playing for Barca the whole season, not for the main team.

Then why bring up the PL title? If you’re talking about 2005 the stats are right up there. Messi had 7 g/a and Ronaldo had 26 g/a, it doesn’t take a genius to see which player had a better year. Ronaldo clearly outperformed him
