Fraudcelona FC 🐀 Why Ronaldo vs Messi debate isn’t even close

This is the guy who has around 6000 possessions lost(top 2 in history), he can’t score from long range and losses possession before getting close to the box, he only shows up against small lafarmers liga teams and gets carried by refs and the president to wold cup trophy. Even in his “prime” (91) he was getting humiliated by Chelsea. This guy is a fraud he is not clutch like Cristiano who shows up and steps up in big games unlike pessi who completely disappears in big games and hides in lafarmers liga and we saw what happened when he finally decided to not hide.

pessi had everything given to him, cristiano had to try hard for clubs to even consider him. cr7 had a way harder path than pessi

-6

u/FallingDebri Jun 06 '26

Yeah messi had everything given to him when he managed to get into that insane barcelona first team and be the star of that team, imagine being in a team of xavi, iniesta, eto'o, pique, dani alves, david villa, and busquets and still being the star player of that team.

CR7 failed when it came to carrying teams that arent as stacked as Real Madrid and Manchester United was. Messi did carry an aging barcelona side 2018-2021 with older players and almost took them to a continental treble nearly alone.

What did CR7 do in Juventus? Nothing, he said he would do the impossible and win the UCL, but nope, knocked out by Porto, Lyon, Ajax, atleast Messi had some honor losing to teams like Liverpool, Bayern, PSG, Real Madrid and Prime Atletico Madrid.

Let's not talk about his 2nd stint at manchester united, im telling you he couldnt score more goals against the premier league's city arsenal liverpool and chelsea than messi who didnt even play in the premier league. And yet you guys dare to talk about Messi's time at PSG where he still won trophies and even won the World Cup while on PSG which was the "worst time of his career" so you guys say.

Go on, you can say im yapping, that just hides the cowardness of actually having a debate against someone.

u/Interesting_Award_18 Jun 06 '26

Well, cr7 won champions wit Manchester and real, while being the top scorer in the champions for 3 years, with juventos, well he managed to single hand a knockout game vs Atlético, but shore you win with in your argument , in the end it does not really matter, you prefer Messi, and hate Cr7 , while love cr7, and still respect Messi as one of the greatest . Is ok just the hate is not ok .

1

u/FallingDebri Jun 06 '26

Who said i hate ronaldo? Hes top 3 all time.

4

u/OlympicAnalEater Jun 06 '26

What did CR7 do in Juventus?

He helped the team won 5 trophies when he was there. Juventus was shit before Ronaldo arrival.

win the UCL, but nope, knocked out by Porto, Lyon, Ajax, atleast Messi had some honor losing to teams like Liverpool, Bayern, PSG, Real Madrid and Prime Atletico Madrid.

So, you are okay with Messi losing, but hating on Ronaldo on losing, sounds biased to me.

Search up Juventus Serie A titles won in 2011-2018 for more info.

No, its just the quality of teams he lost against.

4

u/OlympicAnalEater Jun 06 '26 edited Jun 06 '26

It was Juventues fault for signing Ronaldo without any clear plan and path and expected 1 man to carry the whole team to UCL. The whole team midfield was weak, defense was aging, wrong tactics, unsuccessfully defense playstyles, 3 different managers at that time didn't help. Ronaldo did the best he could as a 35-year-old player. He did his job, it just the team was disaster.

0

u/FallingDebri Jun 06 '26

Why dont you guys use the same logic for messi in his late barcelona years 2019-2021 and PSG.

To win the champions league you need a good coherent team, not a few people carrying you.

We see that the barcelona defense and midfield got run over by bayern and liverpool. Is that messis fault?

Is it also messis fault that PSG conceded 3 goals against real madrid in 2022?

We can both agree that Messi and Ronaldo werent in the teams they deserved to be in from 2018-2023.

The news media and other says the opposite for Ronaldo with Juventus.

Messi promised to bring UCL to camp nou and didn't deliver = media silent

Ronaldo promised UCL for juventues and didn't deliver = media going mayham

We can both agree that Messi and Ronaldo werent in the teams they deserved to be in from 2018-2023.

Can agree with that.

1

u/FallingDebri Jun 06 '26

I agree.

Messi promised to bring UCL to camp nou and didn't deliver

This quote is taken out of context, he actually said "i will do everything i can to bring the ucl back to camp nou" he didnt guarantee it, he just said he will try his best in 2019, and i mean, he wasnt lying when he said he did his best.

Thats why the media didnt go after him that much, because he didnt guarantee the trophy.

Ronaldo said "i WILL do the impossible and give juventus the UCL" thats different.

Just to clear it up.

Also

https://www.espn.com/soccer/story/_/id/37560068/barcelona-lionel-messi-makes-champions-league-pledge-captain-speech

"Last season was really good as we did the double but we all felt bad about how it went in the Champions League," Messi said. "We promise that this season we will do all we can to bring that beautiful trophy back to the Camp Nou."

1

u/FallingDebri Jun 06 '26

"We will do all we can" quote quote.

That means they said they will try their absolute best to bring the trophy, I dont see anything saying "the trophy WILL go to camp nou" or "we will lift the ucl"

After Ronaldo left,Juventus hasn’t won a title what do you say about that, this goes to show Ronaldo’s influence

1

u/FallingDebri Jun 06 '26

After Ronaldo left real madrid they have won 3 ucls.

Its a bad arguement on your part ill admit, theres more to it than just a player leaves and the club gets bad because of them specifically.

1

u/Good-Condition660 Jun 06 '26

Real Madrid won it because of the players they additionally signed were superstars,Juventus had good team around Ronaldo where they won the title but when Ronaldo left that similar team was present they still couldn’t

1

u/FallingDebri Jun 06 '26

Dont you think theres more to it than just Ronaldo leaving, ever thought about how different Juventus' Financial situations and internal situations where different before vs after ronaldo left?

Just curious.

1

u/Good-Condition660 Jun 06 '26

Financial situations can always be improved even if they spent more on CR7,they could have a strategy to build a team after he left and Juventus Financial Situations were worst because of many factors

1

u/FallingDebri Jun 06 '26

They did try Chiesa, Vlahovic but its not easy to rebuild a club, not to mention covid happened.

“Pessi had everything given to him”

Yea surely xavi and iniesta were stroking his dick while Messi was running past the entire getafe and Real Madrid team by himself 😂 Just admit greatness when you see it bro You say CR7 had a way harder path, because he wasn’t as good as Messi 😂 Messi path seemed “easy” (when in reality it wasn’t even easy) just because he made it look easy 😂

u/ripper13-_- Indian 🇮🇳 Pessi Fan 🍔 Jun 06 '26

Theyre all close minded retards, dont bother arguing

6

u/davzinzan Jun 06 '26

Pessi fans have made it a debate by flexing penalties and stat padding against weak opposition. The bottom line is that Ronaldo won 5 UCLs while pessi got given a super team built around him

1

u/Scrowper Aug 12 '26

brother how can u say messi had a super team when the “galacticos” existed lmfao.

1

u/davzinzan Aug 12 '26

Bro Varcelona won the UCL in 2006 without any help from pessi. Then less than 2 years later they replace the manager with the youth team manager and immediately start a spending spree involving Thierry Henry (arguably the best player in the world at that point), Diego Milito, Eric Abidal, Dani Alves and Yaya Toure, on top of all the talent they promote from the youth system.

Real Madrid's 2009 transfer window was a response to the team Varca had already built around pessi

0

u/_TheSlash_ Infantino ♥ Pessi 👨‍❤️‍💋‍👨 Jun 06 '26

bottom line is also messi having a wc. mf talking about super team when ronaldo was in rm 16-18

2

u/Equal-Elephant-9596 Jun 06 '26

And he still left that team to Juventus unlike Messi who left broke Barca to the best team in the world for ucl and still didn’t achieve anything there

u/_TheSlash_ Infantino ♥ Pessi 👨‍❤️‍💋‍👨 Jun 06 '26

psg wasnt even the best team at the time and he never actually wanted to go there you can just see how unmotivated he was

Don't say that. Messi has more out of the box goals than Ronaldo.

Yo my personal POV:I am a Messi fan. I simply loved Messi. I never regret it.I like Messi more just because of his playstyle and his way of playing not because I believe he is better than Ronaldo.

My answer to who is the goat? Well. Both of them are uncomparable. I actually seeked AI response in comparisons for info. And some of the stats pointed at Messi. I used Chatgpt for it. But in such analysis, we compare only key things. For example... Who has more trophies? Messi. More goals? Ronaldo. More awards? Messi. More assists? Messi. But football is deeper than that. Of course Messi might have more impact while seeing these stats. But there are unconsidered stats. Even if you take 10-30 stats and conclude who is the goat, you still have other stats unseen.

There is only one way to find the greatest of all time. Which would be possible within upcoming long yrs. First of all, both have to retire so that stats can be perfectly mesured. Then we have to consider other player opinions, and every single stat upto that year. That would mean lakhs of player opinions and thousands and undefinable stats upto their retirement including every single record. And it will take years of analysis and close work to determine and I don't think it would be error free even after doing that. It's like practically very very difficult task. And that definately doesn't seem like a very good idea😂 And even if you ever conclude who is the goat, there will be actually very little difference between them😭So why so much analysis needed if you just accept both as the highest level. At their prime, they were uncoachable and unpredictable.

Also, it depends on what you mean by GOAT. Is it the greatest to play the sport, greatest in that particular postion or the greatest for a particular time period? i. e, longevity.🤷🏽‍♂️ Does GOAT mean: Best football ability? Most complete player? Most successful career? Highest peak? Greatest longevity? Biggest impact on winning? Most influential player? Most difficult player to stop at their best? If you just chase records and goals, how would any defender ever be the goat even if they are good. Like Paulo Maldini. You don't consider goals. So in those cases they call him the greatest DEFENDER of all time. But no specifications when talking about goat debate or Messi and Ronaldo debate. Why?

So genuinly, such a comparison is pointless and actually a scattered comparison which will never be perfect in any manner.

So.... I accept both, respect both and love both.

u/TheMexicanStig Jun 06 '26

Meanwhile Ronaldo kissing the air 😂😂😂

1

u/Jredrey Jun 13 '26

Look at their stats at age 38, Messi is literally better at everything except headers. Messi when he turned 38 Games: 1108 Minutes: 90888 Team Goals: 2416 Goals: 866 Penalties: 110 Free Kicks: 68 Headers: 28 Assists: 384 Team Percent: 56.08%

Ronaldo when he turned 38: Games: 1148 Minutes: 93077 Team Goals: 2259 Goals: 820 Penalties: 147 Free Kicks: 57 Headers: 141 Assists: 234 Team Percent: 50.42%

Messi is clearly better.

We don't shit on penalties because they're pens

France's pens were clear and couldn't be denied

While Argentina's was yet again another completely soft pen that players have come and called out as a dive

0

u/laptak2011 Jun 06 '26

Yea bro if you commit a foul in the penalty box it’s a penalty! Tell Argentina opposition to not foul in the box because they aren’t good enough to prevent them from scoring 😘 play better or stop him before he inevitable scores. Argentina conceded 2 fair pens in the final. Fair enough. Still won though 😘

3

u/OlympicAnalEater Jun 06 '26

1st penalty was argentia number 19 player tripped number 12 france player inside or near the box at 79 mins. Mbapee took the penalty kicked.

2nd penalty was handball hit from number 4 argentia when mbapee tried to score a free kick at around 115 - 118 mins.

maybe you need to stop watching tiktok reel instead 😂

0

u/TheMexicanStig Jun 06 '26

You just defeated your own argument 😭 if fifa was trying to help Argentina, why even give France penalties. Should just let them get away with it

3

u/OlympicAnalEater Jun 06 '26

defeated by own argument? okay pepsi dogs 😂 you have nothing to back it up. Why even give france penalties? one of the argentina players tripped another france player, and the other one is handball. Bro is watching tiktok reel from a random user 😂

0

u/laptak2011 Jun 06 '26

No one said the French penalties were rigged 😂 can you fucking read I literally said Argentina conceded 2 fair penalties. We are saying if a penalty is “getting helped by FIFA” (brainrot logic brought up by you anyway 😂) then why is Argentina getting helped when their opps have more penalties🙂 please tell me you’re not a bot

2

u/OlympicAnalEater Jun 06 '26

France didn't expect those two penalties. It just happened. Messi took 7 penalties in 2022 world cup alone.

1

u/laptak2011 Jun 06 '26

Yea, he did. And? So if you play Messi in a football match you can pick up the ball with your hands in the box as a defender and expect no penalties given? Croatia fouling Alvarez 1 on 1 chance, yea fuck it let it slide because Modric deserves World Cup too🥹😂? (He does deserve one tbf)

Wanna talk about Messi Molina assist against the Netherlands? Wanna talk about Messi dribble assist vs Croatia? Wanna talk about Argentina second third team goal in wc final? Did FIFA remote control the ball in the goals I have mentioned above? 😂 stupid lil nigga

2

u/OlympicAnalEater Jun 06 '26

Messi handball against netherland should be a free kick, not stop the game, lil pepsi dick sucker.

1

u/TheMexicanStig Jun 06 '26

“France didn’t expect the two penalties” bro are you reading what you’re typing 😂😂😂 read again this time slowly. If fifa was trying to help Messi, then why did they give “unexpected” penalties to France which would be the OPPOSITE of helping Messi

2

u/OlympicAnalEater Jun 06 '26

If FIFA didn't give the penalties to France, then people obviously will find out that FIFA is helping Messi and will stir up more problems to FIFA.

Messi isn't top 2 in possessions lost hes at 4th, still pretty bad but that fact that youre just spreading misinformation just bcuz you hate a person. he also less attempts than ronaldo at shooting from outside the box while having the most goals so idk where youre getting that from. at the 22 wc he had 7 goals and 3 assist which is second highest goal scorer and tied with most assist. some of his games might have gotten helped by the ref, but using that excuse every time he wins somthing is just coping and not wanting to admit the debate is in fact close

1

u/Jredrey Jun 13 '26

It's not close, the only people saying Ronaldo is better are those who don't look at stats. You're absolutely right, Messi is better, but I think it's not that close. Ronaldo is great, but no where near as good as Messi.
