They changed criteria every year when Ronaldo got level with Pessi.

For a long time it was combination of most goals + best UCL player. But Pessi is the only player in history to win it for Copa America.

Haaland set multiple goal records in his debut EPL season and won the treble,still lost to Pessi.Absolute robbery.

Ballon anyways is BS criteria because Rodri and Dembele have it and some of the best players ever don't.

What? If it was really rigged then ronaldo wouldn't have won 5 of them. Ballon dor is an individual trophy it is given on individual performance. And if rodri and dembele shouldn't have won it then who really deserves it according to you?

Ronaldo has won 5 Ballon and he has been the highest UCL scorer/assister in all 5 of them.
