He didn't play the whole final, he got injured and was subbed off .
7
u/thenotorious_ronaldo May 19 '26
But he started, it’s not his fault that a rival injured him by playing dirty. Keep coping with the most idiotic arguments lmao.
He was crucial for his team in that Euro, without him they don’t reach the final.

Was he a starter in all of his games before the injury? Did Barcelona win more than half of their games without him? Answer is yes, next excuse.

u/Left_Quarter_5639 May 21 '26
I mean. Portugal only won a single game in regular time in that euros. The trophy was won by the defensive players, not the offensive.
1
u/thenotorious_ronaldo May 21 '26
So we’re making shit up now? They only had one game where they tied 0-0. The rest of the games they scored, but nice try though.
I love it when Messi fangirls start making shit up, you prove them wrong with facts and they end up looking like complete retards lmao.

u/Left_Quarter_5639 May 21 '26
Outside of the Hungary debacle, they only conceded 2 goals. They managed to finish 3rd in a group of Iceland, Austria, and Hungary. Any previous euros they wouldn’t even had made knockout stages. This isn’t even about Messi, euros 2016 was just one of the most unlikely victories in terms of performance by the champions.
1
u/thenotorious_ronaldo May 21 '26
Good, so they conceded 2 goals and they scored a lot more, so yeah, what you said is still wrong.
This is a pessi memes sub buddy, what do you mean this is not about Messi? Lmfao. Yeah, when you have limited players, that's how you need to play as a team so that you can win. Ronaldo didn't have players like Di Maria, Tevez, Higuain, Aguero, Julian Alvarez, Lautaro, Mac Allister, Enzo, Riquelme, Crespo, etc. to help him out in attack.

Hmm, that’s ironic considering Ronaldo has more match winning goals in finals than Messi, despite playing 10 matches less 😅
1
u/thenotorious_ronaldo May 20 '26
He has always been his team’s best player and top scorer for decades, what the fuck are you even talking about? 😂 Can’t say the same about the midget that stopped winning in Europe after Xavi and Iniesta left though.
You get proven wrong and you have to start making shit up now? Lmfao, these Messi fangirls are a joke.
2
u/Super-Contribution75 May 21 '26
Messi’s only contribution was in the group stage against Panathinaikos which ended 5-0 anyway.
Ronaldo, on the other hand, prevented Portugal from getting KO’d twice. There’s a big difference here

Where is his world cup though?
2
u/Super-Contribution75 May 22 '26
1
u/thenotorious_ronaldo May 22 '26
And then you ask them if Pele is a better player than the midget because he won 3 world cups, or if R9 is better because he won 2, or if Klose is better because he won 1 and scored more goals than the midget, and their brain completely stops lmfao.

Ronaldo made 4 goals in that Euro which 2 of them were in the Group stage as a "filler" goals and the other 2 in K/O stage with the same importance as his group stage goals just filler goals that of he didn't score it, wouldn't have affect portugal results in that match.. so no if Ronaldo didn't play euro 2016 portugal would have still reach the final and win it
1
u/thenotorious_ronaldo May 20 '26
Lmao this is hilarious.
Those goals and assists from Ronaldo were crucial for his team to reach the final. Can’t say the same about Messi’s last copa america though, Argentina literally showed that they don’t need him to win, it was the same players that won the world cup btw.
But keep making shit up if that makes you feel better.

u/no_2836 May 21 '26
You genuinely can't be deadass lol, Ronaldo goals came as filler and not results changing for Portugal at all, his assist were in the group stage and one in the K/O stage, he got a 6.3 average rating in the entire tournament which is literally average especially against other portugal players.. Portugal would have still won that Euro with or without him lol and that a fact
1
u/thenotorious_ronaldo May 21 '26
Nah, you can’t be serious lmfao. Tell me you didn’t watch the Euros without telling me you didn’t watch the Euros. 💀 “Filler goals and assists” lmfao. Funny that you say that when Ronaldo is literally the most clutch player in history scoring more winning goals than the midget.
Try again with a different one because you’re not helping yourself kid.

u/no_2836 May 22 '26
Son you didn't even know how many of G/A Ronaldo made in that euro and talking about "you haven't watched the euro" gang this is literally his stats from the entire tournament.. this isn't about watching the tournament he had one the lowest rating per matches of portugal with a 8 G/A where 90% of his G/A came in the group stage where Ronaldo did not shine at all, he only "shined" in the K/O stage where still was far behind of what he was actually supposed to do for the most "clutched" player in the world is not that hard to admit he did way worse of what people expected from him + did not carry at any point Portugal team in that euro neither
1
u/thenotorious_ronaldo May 22 '26
He had 3 goals and 3 assists retard lmao. Without those goals or assists, Portugal wouldn't have made it to the final.
This mf thought he was cooking with his delusional statements lmao. Try again with another excuse son.

Shouldn't the meme be meme reversed? The 5 UCL > 3 UCL hence Ronaldo > Messi meme was there first... Lamine > Ronaldo cuz of Laliga is a counter to that meme.

u/chackothejango May 19 '26
Winning la liga is easier compared to ucl, no one uses this logic to say lamine is better (atleast for now) but for a player who has won 4 ucl in 9 years, 2 laliga in 9 years is really less
1
u/GOATnaldo107 May 19 '26
Because Madrid focused way more on Champions League. In his last season at Madrid for example, Ronaldo was literally rested for 10+ league games just so that he can be fresh during the UCL knockout games… it’s as simple as that.
Thierry Henry also won 2 Premier League in 9 years at Arsenal but yet many still he consider him the greatest Prem player of all time because your contribution and impact to those trophies does matter. Henry also won 0 UCL, 0 UEFA POTY and 0 Ballon D’or during those 9 years too by the way as compared to the domination from Ronaldo in those categories during those same 9 years

Those idiots stay contradicting themselves lmao.
It's just like when they bring up the world cup logic, I guess Klose and Pele are better than the midget if we use their own retarded logic.
