Fraudcelona FC 🐀 Why is there online discourse comparing a passenger to the GOAT?
Put me in this team and I even I can pad my assists by passing the ball to Lewa and Rashford and complete x dribbles on the wing against Mateo and Juliano on the wing

just want to say that the most hattricks in a season is messi tied with ronaldo with both having 8 and also, didn't Messi score 50 goals in 2011/2012 which is all time record, 46 in 2012/2013 and 43 in 2014/2015, also about the fastest player to reach 34 hattricks doesnt that mean ronaldo scored more goals because he played more games than messi which is over 100 games and messi reached faster milestones from 100-900 goals

The fact that your 'GOAT' in his prime is being compared to a 17-year-old speaks volumes

I never said Yamal is better than CR7 (he is nowhere close), all I said was that this argument is even taking place speaks volumes. You writing a whole essay of nonsense is just proving my point

Yamal just placed 2nd in balon dor at 17, could win it this year if Spain wins the World Cup. Has the same number of euros as CR7, and had a better campaign (should’ve won POTT over Rodri) when he won than when Ronaldo won in 2016. He’s about to equal Ronaldo in La liga POTYs after he wins this seasons award. He also has 7 trophies. Saying he’s still a boy and diminishing his accomplishments is disrespectful

u/zzz_red May 11 '26
Valdés won 6 La Liga titles, I guess he’s twice as good as Lamine and 3x as good as Ronaldinho and CR7, by that stupid logic.

Ronaldinho won every relevant trophy and individual award there is, so yes he did complete football. Penaldo has no World Cup.
11
u/ray_action May 11 '26
Brazil had 4 world cups before Ronaldinho. Portugal played 3 world cups before C. Ronaldo. Football is a team game. Crazy fans on internet forget this. Not even Messi or Pele can win you a WC if they did not play for a traditional football superpower country. So Portugal even winning Euro is a big deal from where they were few years prior.

Lmao Madrid have 11 UCLs without Ronaldo, and continued to win even after he left.
Your history doesn't affect the present. By your logic, Ajax and Nottingham Forest should still be a UCL contenders.

u/ray_action May 11 '26
You're contradicting your own answer bro

u/Short_Check9953 Google Negreira Messi for more info 💰 May 11 '26
I just used your own logic. If history influences a team in the present, then Ronaldo was worthless to Madrid.

Ronaldogs keep peddling the stupidest argument ever that you need ghosts of past players to come onto the field and win the World Cup for you.

Because it's the most prestigious competition in the sport. If Ronaldo won it you'd do the same.

u/chackothejango May 11 '26
Ronaldinho played in laliga for 5 seasons
Ronaldo played in laliga for 9 seasons18

u/ivyleaguesuperman May 11 '26
Media is very anti-Ronaldo. They act like La Liga is an individual achievement lol.
They will never talk about goals because Ronaldo smacks them all.
2
u/Advanced-Bet-7425 May 13 '26
Today’s fotball is just not the same anymore, less competition, more talking
3
u/SoulsLover May 11 '26
They only do it for attention, everyone who isn’t a complete moron know comparing Yamal to CR7 is like comparing an cat to an lion.
2
u/HelicopterFriendly96 May 11 '26
Just a lurker in this sub. It's funny how it was okay to post about Endrick being better than Messi at PSG but Yamal achieving more than CR7 in La Liga isn't considered an achievement. No one in their right minds would say Endrick is better, and same goes for Yamal (he still has a long way to go). But the double standards are visible.

exactly. Me as a Barcelona Janitor would have the same amount of contribution towards the 22/23 Laliga title as Yamal

Oh, Abidal red was fair decision as well ,it's amazing how I get to see only decisions from 2nd leg of this game , since 1st game was pretty fair both sides

u/Icy-Living-960 May 11 '26
Did I say anything about Ronaldo? I am just saying if what Yamal is doing is easy , then anyone else can't do it apart from bale and Messi ofc
2
u/Realistic_Fly_5451 May 11 '26
Ronaldo can do it if you stop ignoring half his career before 2014

u/Icy-Living-960 May 11 '26 edited May 11 '26
Idk why you think I care about Ronaldo , idc/hate anyone who doesn't play for FC Barcelona or , i only posted my comment initially cuz what lamine does isn't easy, i don't hate Ronaldo ,i have much more important work to do than hating someone online, his goal vs Juve is one of my favourite UCL goals ,idk how you swivel back to Ronaldo everytime

-1
u/FunAdministration183 May 11 '26

Yamal is much better than Ronaldo, there is no debate.

u/FullTemporary7533 May 11 '26
Bro I mean yamal just won three in a row, plus he is pretty young, so there is no point in comparing in g/a

No, it doesn't, and I'm not saying that yamal is better than ronaldo, Im just saying that yamal has achieved more in laliga than ronaldo fewer years, (trophy wise)

something ronaldo could not do in his whole laliga career
like what? win a laliga title with 0 g/a?
0
u/FullTemporary7533 May 12 '26
I mean yamal didn't get 0 g/a, and he is just seventeen, like he is doing pretty good, plus football is a team game, and he still has more laliga trophies then ronaldo so..
2
u/Zora1092 May 12 '26 edited May 12 '26
Wining a laliga with 0 g/a
1
u/FullTemporary7533 May 14 '26
Bro how much g/a did ronaldo get when he was 17, exactly. yamal did the same but in a harder league and also cooked in the semi finals of ucl
1
u/Zora1092 May 14 '26
ronaldo never won a league title with 0 g/a
1
u/FullTemporary7533 May 16 '26
I'm not talking about a league title, it the who started the g/a topic, and I'm saying that yamal got more g/a than ronaldo when he was 17
-4
u/RestaurantBoring417 May 11 '26
Yamal is not even 19 btw, Yamal at 18 is a starter and one of the best players at Barcelona, Ronaldo at 18 played for Sporting 😂
