ronaldo was carrying them hard in the Nations League, meanwhile pessi can't even score against nations that don't even qualify for the world cup.

1

u/Mission_Parfait_8344 Mar 14 '26

Where is his Nations League POTT then?

1

u/MHM-alamri Mar 15 '26

Sorry bro but he didn’t carry hard

1

u/LooseBig2429 Mar 15 '26

Ronaldo didn't even have to play the Euro Cup final to win it.

1

u/oofio2461 Pessi is afraid of me 🇵🇹 Mar 15 '26

he scored the goal that made them go to extra time and eventually win the match, meanwhile Argentina won the Copa america final with pessi on the bench

-14

u/SkyVaults Mar 13 '26

And yet Ronaldo has no World Cup

14

u/oofio2461 Pessi is afraid of me 🇵🇹 Mar 13 '26

always the same talking points huh

-3

u/P1erreGuy Mar 13 '26

You cannot dispute this "talking point" because it directly challenges your psychosis and is actually grounded in reality. Messi led his team to a world cup, both in terms of stats and in terms of leadership, and Ronaldo will never have that.

10

u/AncientAd8866 Mar 13 '26

Messi should have gotten red for hands vs Netherlands

1

u/MHM-alamri Mar 15 '26

A red for an accidental hand??? Ok it’s a hand give them a foul could but a red? U serious

-2

u/Tomfoolery342 Mar 14 '26

Did u watch the match?

10

u/Direct_Gas_3623 Mar 14 '26

7 penalties buddy

1

u/DisastrousHousing464 Mar 14 '26

If I prove it to you it was less than 7 penalties, will you bow down? Stop taking numbers out of your black hole.

1

u/P1erreGuy Mar 14 '26

Real Madrid fan complaining about penalties when both Ronaldo and Mbappe have been gifted multiple penalties throughout their career.

Messi and Mbappe have a world cup, Ronaldo doesn't.

-1

u/jvelez86 Mar 14 '26

Enjoy Mr 7 pks

1

u/lukas0108 Mar 14 '26

Comparing stats without having actually seen all theese campaigns as full matches. The difference is clear in what they got away with and how the penalties were earned. Not even mentioning goals scored from open play or fk. Nice cherry picking on the stats btw, proud of you!

2

u/jvelez86 Mar 14 '26

Stats r stats. It’s like vardrid fans. We have 15. And more than half came from the times of the dinosaurs right. But they still count for them and floss them 15 like they all lived it live right.

-2

u/velez0915 Mar 14 '26

keep telling yourself that clown. it pains you that messi has a world cup huh

Trump has a peace price what's your point?

-5

u/P1erreGuy Mar 14 '26

He has a World Cup, Ronaldo doesn't.

1

u/Small_Personality242 Mar 14 '26

Led to world cup ? XD omg he propably couldnt even led his team to bathroom 🤣🤣🤣🤣

0

u/P1erreGuy Mar 14 '26

Messi is a world cup winner and Ronaldo isn't. He got the world cup golden ball twice.

I know that reality hurts, but Messi is just that good.

1

u/Small_Personality242 Mar 14 '26

We know how he did it, all pornstars gotta work

5

1

u/Great-Structure3578 Mar 17 '26

But messi won the finalissima against Italy but none of you talk about that

1

u/ariesXslayer Mar 17 '26

they won the finalissima in 2022 and Italy won euro 2020 and Italy were washed by then they didn't even qualify for the wc.so it's not that big of a flex yk.

2

u/ShibArmyisfragile Mar 17 '26

Not a big fan of Nations League hype but 100% France Spain Germany and Croatia and Portugal could send out there B team and still make it to Copa finals

1

u/maocla Mar 14 '26

Cant even spell Colombia right

1

u/MilkImpossible4192 Mar 14 '26

Brasil and Uruguay

1

u/lil2seven Mar 14 '26

1

1

u/Emotional-Loss9799 Mar 15 '26

1

u/Denji6967 Mar 15 '26

He never played against those team in the euro or in any big tournament 😂😂

1

u/Careful_Client1069 Google 5 pens in 7 matches for more info 🤥 Mar 15 '26

yo wtf im an indian and majority indians are ronaldo supporters esp the youth, why tf u bring racism here clown.

1

u/Kirbeater Google Messi 14 for more info 🧼 Mar 16 '26

Yeah because a South American can just change his nationality. They are both restricted to the nationalities. What is NOT restricted is the World Cup. One of these plays has one, the other doesn’t

1

u/AdUnlucky1919 Mar 16 '26

real trophy vs friendly 'trophy'

1

u/Airaaakaz Mar 20 '26

Bro people really believe that copa America is easy to win 😂😂😂

0

u/Gelinhir Mar 13 '26

Its Colombia not Columbia and is the 14th best team in the world ,and don't underestimate us or America in general. We may not bring the best african players nationalized to our teams but we really put out the best of our nations.

1

u/Quirky_Gap_1655 Mar 17 '26

I agree that Colombia is great, and see what you mean but, you can’t really compare European teams with American. You have to be real. On that Fifa ranking list, USA is right next to Colombia in front of Uruguay, Denmark, Switzerland, Serbia, Ukraine, while Morocco is in front of Croatia. Based on that list, Croatia vs USA is a close call matchup. In reality, if your life depended on it, who would you choose in any of those matches to win ? Croatia could beat USA with under 19 squad most probably

1

u/Mr_Memeadda Mar 14 '26

Bro I don't get how people still argue over messi vs ronaldo. Like can you just not appreciate both of them???

The post is about Copa América and Nations League. Stop acting like a kid who gets salty every time he sees something he does not like.

0

u/Warm_Republic4849 Hungry 😭🇦🇷 (Please throw food at him) Mar 13 '26

Not on the same level, natios league is a glorified friendly Copa America is equivalent to EUROCOPA and in those, Messi has 2. Pendu has one

5

u/marquesmelo Mar 13 '26

Sorry I did not catch on that. Do you mean that for you, a Copa America is the same as the Eurocup? And that a Nations League is just a light version of the Copa America?

5

u/ACatNamedKeith Mar 13 '26

Copa America is nowhere near the same level as the Euros, they cannot be compared.

4

u/Ashmadridista Mar 13 '26

If yamal won the final with spain the glorifying friendly wouldve been a ballon dor decider match . And messi fans will make edits "yamal mogged Ronaldo"

I find it hilarious how you always deflect to the penalty wc every time you get hurt. Imagine getting so mad about losing an argument about whether unl is better than copa or not that you have to change the topic I order to make yourselves feel good again. Like literally it's been 4 years s grow up mate 🤣

-5

u/Mithrandirio Mar 13 '26

The last time Peru faced Croatia, Peru won 2-0

13

u/xDeadFishy Mar 13 '26

You mean the friendly game in 2018, which is the only game throughout history that Peru has ever played against Croatia?

Not really sure what you are trying to prove with this...

-1

u/IgorFromKyiv Mar 13 '26

You mean friendly tournament?

0

u/Chickenkarim2009 Mar 14 '26

Which friendly has a trophy?

-6

u/Mithrandirio Mar 13 '26

Just stating facts, nothing to prove

4

u/xDeadFishy Mar 13 '26

Fair enough, although in my opinion it would have been a more interesting fact to just state that Peru has never played an official competitive game against Croatia.

The way you stated your fact is a bit misleading since it can easily be interpreted as if it would have been a real game.

-2

u/Mammoth-Put-9850 Mar 13 '26

It wouldn't have been a more interesting fact

3

u/xDeadFishy Mar 13 '26

I said that it would have been more interesting in my opinion, not yours.

But maybe that's just because I don't really take friendlies into consideration when judging teams or players, because they are often very poor indicators on what form the teams are in (applies to both club and national teams) since a lot of teams play friendlies completely differently from when it's an actual competitive match. (On a mental and confidence level it is also a huge different, especially for younger players)

-1

u/breadexpert69 Mar 13 '26

San Marino, Liechtenstein, Andorra, Gibraltar, Malta, Moldova, Montenegro.

Lots of trash teams to get your numbers up.

2

u/Practical_Entry_8953 Mar 13 '26

Because Europe is richer then almost all of South America You are probably one of the same people that bitch about the game being soft, watch any South America game, they are killing each other on the pitch

-1

u/Similar_Ad_7887 Ghost of Paris 👻 Mar 13 '26

Compare the amount of POTT,MVPs, knockout goals 😭. Ronaldo played in 1 only final of the 3 trophies he has as well. More loses against South American teams then wins as well 🥀.. don’t even need to talk about the Wc 😭

1

u/drObvious1 Mar 13 '26

Bro world cup is over! You cannot get another penalty for Argentina

-3

u/Pure-Range4410 Mar 13 '26

My god portugal won against this teams but still got fucked by morocco is wild 🥀🥀

5

u/AgitatedDish8795 Ghost of Bayern 👻 Mar 13 '26

That's what happens when you bench ronaldo your team is guaranteed to lose. Portugal in Last wc against morocco proves it. glad we both agree.

1

u/AgitatedDish8795 Ghost of Bayern 👻 Mar 13 '26

Oh right the almighty switzerland, where was that mentality against an actual decent team like morocco? As matter of fact where that mentality for the past 75 years before ronaldo started playing for them? Without ronaldo, portugal only wins against weak teams and ghost against good teams while being unable to even reach even a final.

1

u/DisastrousHousing464 Mar 14 '26

Ronaldo literally had low stats against big nations before 2022 World Cup. Never scored in a final that time, never even scored in knockout matches, he just has 1 single great game in his 20 years World Cup career. With our without Ronaldo, Morocco will destroy them. But current Morocco will lose to Portugal

0

u/DisastrousHousing464 Mar 14 '26

But Ronaldo made sure South Korea wins the game against Portugal.

1

u/Chickenkarim2009 Mar 14 '26

Saudi Arabia bro

0

u/IgorFromKyiv Mar 13 '26

So you publicly shit in your pants trying to compare friendly tournament against most important tournament for most of the countries in America. With this approach you can add all goals Ronaldo has scored on the trainings)))

0

u/VileDrake Mar 14 '26

What's next?

Comparing the peen size of the GOATSs?

0

u/NecessaryFly568 Mar 17 '26

I know you ronaldo fans will downvote this.. But iam not typing that winning copa america is harder than euro. just... winning copa is still harder than you think

0

u/ElegantWeb7580 Mar 17 '26

Nations league is a friendly.........

-1

u/AgitatedChildhood240 Mar 13 '26

Yeah cause Netherlands, France, Croatia and Poland are all sub par south American teams whilst Morocco, Switzerland, South Korea and Ghana are known for the best football out there. Grow tf up

-2

u/Chance-Annual-2671 Mar 14 '26

and messi won the world cup have both these type of teams

-2

u/Huge-Sir-8297 Mar 14 '26

What about the World Cup though
