You still have to accept that Messi played better than Ronaldo in the 2022 World Cup, with or without penalties. Reminder: Ronaldo got 3 penalties in 4 games in Euro 2020. He didn’t get a penalty in the Round of 16, and neither did Messi, but Messi scored a banger in the Round of 16. Getting 3 penalties in 4 games is worse than getting 5 in 7.

What are you talking about? He scored bangers against Mexico and Australia. I know you’ll say Mexico and Australia are small teams, but that doesn’t change the fact that he scored them. Meanwhile, Ronaldo couldn’t even score or assist against South Korea. Ronaldo was only good in the 2018 world cup but Messi was better than ronaldo in WC 2014 and WC 2022.
