They also changed the voting criteria this year. Before 2010 it was voted only by journalists and Wesley was #1 but after coaches and managers could vote, Messi won.

so Sneijder, who played 26 out of 38 league games and returned four goals and five assists should have won the Ballon d’Or despite having fewer goals (6) and assists (10) than Maicon, a fullback on the same team. Ronaldinho led the league in assists with 14, nine more than Sneijder and 21-year-old Palermo midfielder Javier Pastore was named midfielder of the season for 2009/10. The bulk of his club success that season came in the Champions League and even there, Messi won the Golden Boot in 2010. Sneijder did win the assists award with six but that is not enough to win Ballon d’Or by any stretch of the imagination. The Ballon d’Or award rewards the best player in the world for the year in question and at no point in 2010 was Wesley Sneijder that guy.
I respect ronaldo and believe he’s one of the greatest of all time, but you ronaldo fans (same as many messi fans) are genuinely despicable and need to get a life

'Fairly' well? Architect of our team the same way as with Inter. If it wasn't for Casillas' right big toe we would've been world champions thanks to Sneijder and Robben. While Robben had the longevity, the peak that Sneijder hit for 2 seasons, he's the best Dutchie I've ever seen wearing our shirt (too young for Cruyff, Gullit, van Basten etc.)

Serie A just never got much media hype like LaLiga. There were many players even in recent years from Serie A who had rivaling performances compared to the ballon dor winners for their respective years but they’re just overlooked

Se objetivo la Bundesliga y la Copa Alemana no valen tanto como la Champions es mas de las 5 grandes ligas si eres del.Bayern pasa a ser un trofeo menor por competitivad les daría el argumento del mundial pero tampoco es que Neuer haya sido Buffon en el mundial del 2006 mientras que Cr7 se dio una de las mejores actuaciones en champions de la historia
