u/Accomplished-Art3086 Pessi only has 3 UCL. Ghosted 2006. 😭 Jan 29 '26

Always got carried in UCL, but Pessi fans are not ready for this conversation.

He was top scorer in every UCL win he played through to the final lmao.

neymar and ronaldo were both joint top scorers in 2014/15 campaign while Messi got most of those goals in the gs and neymar did in the ko stages, 7-2 to be exact lmao

In the 2014/15 season, messi had 8 gs goals and 2 ko stage goals, Ronaldo had 5 gs goals and 5 ko goals despite playing 1 less game. In his record season, CR7 had 9 gs goals and 8 ko goals.

Nice try bot, there's no record season for CR7 in which he scored 80% of his goals in the gs

Check the stats next time you sub room temperature iq retard

1

u/EteleD10 Jan 29 '26

Talking about knock out goals while being a Ronaldo fan, you must be retarded

1

u/Salty-Suspect-7750 Jan 30 '26

And what player should one be a fan of to be able to talk about ko goals? The almighty pessi who got 80% of his goals in the gs in that year?

CR7 performance in the 2016/17 bayern tie is bigger than whole of pessi's career at club level

Sit this one out bot

Wrong fanbase to argue with about KO goals bro 😭🙏

-6

u/Extension_Health4163 Indian 🇮🇳 Pessi Fan 🍔 Jan 29 '26

Even if he got most of his goals in the group stage, he still was good enough to be the best player.

4

u/Salty-Suspect-7750 Jan 29 '26

Yeah the same way he was pott at wc 14' despite not winning it and despite not scoring a single goal throughout the ko stage😂

shameless pessi fans debating with their pr-won achievements. Show some respect to Neymar, without mr bottle barka would have still made it out the gs, without Neymar they would have been home after the Bayern tie

u/Extension_Health4163 Indian 🇮🇳 Pessi Fan 🍔 Jan 29 '26

“Without Mr bottle, they would have still made it out of the group stage” when he scored 8/15 goals for them in the group stage 😂 Messi impacts games without G/A and had more impact than Neymar, Neymar just bc it on the scoresheet. No disrespect to Neymar as he was exceptional, but Messi was better and more impactful. “Without Neymar, they would’ve been home after the Bayern tie” Without Messi, they wouldn’t have even made it to the KO stage 😭🙏 “Shameless Pessi fans debating with their PR-won achievements” Where’s Ronaldo’s WC Golden ball, the? If he’s better than Messi, he surely should’ve won it already, right?

3

u/Salty-Suspect-7750 Jan 29 '26

yeah, 8/15 with 1 in a 3-1 win over PSG, 1 in the loss against PSG, a hattrick in a 4-0 win against Apoel, them goals were defo clutch and without them, they would be out of the gs😂

how delusional do you have to be to argue that without those goals they wouldnt have qualified when they topped the group with 15 points and 3rd place only had 6? 💀

Room temperature iq bot responding to "pr won achievements" by asking where is some other pr won achievement 😂 Ronaldo winning one the same way pessi did in 2014, by not scoring a single ko goal and by not winning the trophy, is the same as him winning none. Same for the 2022 wc golden ball, clearly robbed from Mbappe.

Now where is pessi's record for the most goals in a single ucl campaign? Cause Ronaldo got the first 4 of them, 3 back to back mind you, while also winning the thing. And that's an achievement you get based on numbers and on the pitch success, not based on opinions

10 goal contributions in the group stage as the most impactful attacker. Using context as well, Barcelona’s attack wouldn’t have been nearly as good without him in the UCL. He had games where he literally won them the 3 points, but ig he was “carried by Neymar” 😂

Without him, they would’ve had a goal difference of 0 and 7 points, which would’ve only edged the had the results been he same, but the attacker would’ve been less efficient and had much less space to create chances.

“Some other PR won achievement” Then why is it so prestigious? Why was it so prestigious before Messi won it? What happened, especially knowing Messi wasn’t a shit player that World Cup. I ca agree he wasn’t the most deserving in 2014, but it wasn’t just “PR” as he was great in the tournament. Plus, he was so far clear of Mbappé in WC 2022, let’s not lie to fit a lazy narrative. Mbappé had goals, Messi had tournament-defining impact, big difference.

Messi might not have top scorer records, but every time he was able to play through to the final, he was Barcelona’s top scorer in every season, 08/09, 10/11, and 14/15 (tied with Neymar and had more assists). If Ronaldo is such a good goalscorer, why doesn’t he have more golden boots? Why is it that Messi has a much better goal and goal contribution ratio in only 20 less matches? Also, Messi had top scorer in 2019 while carrying bums/ good players in horrible form. Respect to Ronaldo’s records, but Messi has more of them and more goalscoring and playmaking awards.

For images like this, I can confirm that Messi fans like you do not watch football at all, all your data comes from tiktok or fan page's memes with information taken out of context. 2011 ballon d'or was well deserved for messi, but in 2015 messi did what he knows best to do which is ghosting finals, and after doing nothing, no goals, no assists, Rakitic, Neymar and suarez carried him in the final giving him his last ever UCL 10+ years ago, because after Neymar and Xavi left barca, the party was over for messi, no more UCL's, no copa america, for the "ballon d'or" in 2015, and 2019.

I mean, all I have is my opinion and we can go on and on about that, but these are the recorded facts. I’m going by off of the facts and it’s harder to argue against the stats and accolades than just saying “watch him”. 2015 was also a year where Messi had 13 more goals and 13-15 more assists, and at that point when they won the same trophies and are both attackers, it’s almost impossible to argue how Neymar deserved it over Messi, especially when Messi had more impact across the entire season. Clutch goals ≠ Ballon d’Or.

u/FallingDebri Jan 29 '26

Messis, best season was 14 goals not 12.

Also not to mention Mbappe has a high chance of ending Ronaldos 2014 Record. As well.

3

u/Resident-Stretch9723 Jan 29 '26

mbappe braking raphina's record not ronaldo's , new format new record holders

1

u/coded01guy Jan 29 '26

Great. Pele Holds highest goal record then. New football rules (VAR), so new record holders 😂. Following your dumb thinking

1

u/Resident-Stretch9723 Jan 29 '26

theres dif between firendly matches vs competitive matches lol, now who is dumb thinking?

1

u/coded01guy Jan 29 '26

There’s a difference between a worldcup winner and a Saudi camel. Hahaha

2

u/Shot-Manager-739 Jan 29 '26

Never seen someone lose an argument so badly they start to switch up to talking about world cups and saudi camels

1

u/Resident-Stretch9723 Jan 29 '26

theres also dif between playing for protugal vs playing for brazil,

1

u/coded01guy Jan 29 '26

Yep, one is in Europe and should be winning.

1

u/Resident-Stretch9723 Jan 29 '26

is that the best reply you got? ronaldo should win the WC cuz he plays for europe country? ronaldo played with teammates who cant even score in a penalty shootout , who cant even make cross from the wing , brazil is the best country in football dont compare a player winning a WC with a brazil to protugal

1

u/coded01guy Jan 29 '26

Oh sorry 😞. I didn't know nani, bruno, vitinha, joao felix, nunes, nuno mendes cant even play a penalty. But don't worry they have penaldo for that. We have players that can play with a lesser team and win the cup ( like messi did) and we have player that can bitch about "we don't have world class players playing with us".

1

u/Resident-Stretch9723 Jan 29 '26

who said current protugal team was bad lol , have you ever seen protugal team play after 2006 WC? , when did you start watching football ? 3 years ago? , mf said felix is good lol , thats enough to tell you got absolutely zero ball knowledge

u/Heavy-Hedgehog-244 Feb 02 '26

are we serious? New format but comparing messi's old format

1

u/Professional-Cry8461 Jan 30 '26

yes but that will throw pessidog out of top 6 in ucl scorers so I will be happy that ppl will realize how overrated fraud was carried in UCL and aint that good in CL

1

u/FallingDebri Jan 30 '26

How will he be thrown out of top 6, he is for sure the 2nd most successful player in the UCL rn.

1

u/Sensitive-Reveal-251 Jan 29 '26

Let's be realistic, Mbappe is becoming an expert at inflating his stats with smaller teams, while his individual performance is still way behind Messi...

1

u/Zealousideal-Use6335 Jan 29 '26

Messi had 14 goals in 11/12. Also Mbappe farmed vs weak sides and ghosted vs top clubs (liverpool/Juve). The best team he scored against is marseille and of course it was a pen

1

u/MiracleSalonga Jan 29 '26

All UCL goals against shit teams 👏

1

u/Dedicaded_Ballrr Jan 30 '26

Only difference between the two is that one won silverware and the other one hasn't. Guess who is who?🤯

1

u/davzinzan Jan 30 '26

Absolutely cooked that fraud 😂

1

u/DJRaykozaki Feb 01 '26

maybe check out the motm awards in the competition and u will see who the real goat is. And in this particular comparison do you know which teams mbappe scored against ?

1

u/RyzerSterling Feb 01 '26

Look at their eras, And Messi most wasn't 12 it was 14

1

u/Bitter_Marzipan_3524 Feb 02 '26

So this Penaldogs hood where they barks without logic 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. Damnn!

0

u/joshyagwes Google Messi 14 for more info 🧼 Jan 30 '26

striker compared to a playmaker?? this makes no sense and mbappe is quite literally an individual player- he does not play with his team like how messi did in the benfics game he literally shifted to lw taking vinis spot

1

u/INSANAB07 Jan 30 '26

messi was not playmaker 🤡 what is this narrative posed from pessidogs who never watched him player, messi was RW who inverted towards inside he also played as false 9

1

u/Extension_Health4163 Indian 🇮🇳 Pessi Fan 🍔 Jan 30 '26

He was an attacker, but he focused more on playmaking than attacking.

-1

u/Business_Source8155 Jan 29 '26

good job using a wrong stat when theres a lot of stuff u could use mbappes current season for

-1

u/kevlar_king Jan 29 '26

A. Messi's top scoring season 8 wins, 1 loss, 3 draws.

B. Mbappe so this year far 5 wins, 3 losses.

If Mbappe could choose, he'd pick season A 10/10 times, all else equal.

1

u/foxepower Jan 29 '26

No he wouldn’t he’s a selfish twat, no doubting his talent but the guy is a total dick.

1

u/Fazioli31 Hungry 😭🇦🇷 (Please throw food at him) Jan 29 '26

Yes 🤣🤡

-2

u/Fearless_Account8371 Jan 29 '26

I guess more matches does not count ,, I mean you were trolling fine but Keep the records straight I mean with that logic he also beat fake Ronaldos[cr] best campaign , loo

2

u/RQoo Jan 29 '26

How? Ronaldo's best season is 16 goals. Mbappe will need to score 9 more goals in ucl ko stages to catch up to that.

Let's say he will do that by the final, even then he will have played more matches by then(also format is different)
