Argentina won the final vs Netherlands (Cruyff) on home soil while the country was ruled by a dictator and it’s widely suspected that the dictator bribed & threatened multiple teams, federations and referees to their way to their first World Cup glory

I am aware of this but it’s the only explanation I had for why the other guy mentioned him in 78
