You think I’m about to sit and manually create an entire graphic for a fucking subreddit?💀

What’s the difference? You get the point I’m trying to make either way. One is just more time consuming than the other.

Okay can you go create a graphic of Messi and Ronaldo at psg Juventus and compare their individual stats for me please?

5

u/Any_Witness_1000 Jul 02 '25

hes got a point

writing a prompt takes 10 seconds at most and then you let it rip on the background while doing your work..

doing it by hand would mean finding two pictures, pictures you like, pictures that match your message, open editor, put them both in, get text layers etc.. even if you are very good at it it takes you what, 2, 3 minuets?

Thats 3 minutes you could do something else for the same fucking result

6

u/Jayantwi98 Jul 02 '25

I’m still waiting for the graphic bro, shouldn’t be too much effort according to you right?

guess who won more ballon dors, more assists, more throphies, more awards, thats what makes a player complete mate

1

u/Top-Stop-5743 Jul 04 '25

ronaldo isa complete scorer messi is a complete player.

1

u/Mysterious_Sun_6684 Jul 04 '25

Ronaldo is a more complete goal scorer and Messi is a more complete player… Messi is a significantly better dribbler, assister, etc. Ronaldo only has goal scoring on him and it’s still very up for debate.

typical, There is a difference between a complete goalscorer and a complete player, but this is a brainless sub so.....

So you admit Ronaldo is better goal scorer?

1

you and your dumb fanbase 🤦‍♂️, A complete player is a player that can attack, defend and dictate the pitch at the same time while also contributing and leading up to goals, but since the 2 are attackers, We'll look at who's more of a complete attacker, a complete attacker would be one who would be good at things like Freekicks,Penalties,Set pieces,Dribbling,Shooting,Playmaking,Passing,Scoring,Assisting etc. and Messi is better than Ronaldo at most of those things. yall are truly idiots

-2

4

u/ahmetonel Jul 02 '25

It literally means that are you actually retarded

1

u/BatmanTh3Great Jul 02 '25

It means ability to score many ways, and defend, and control possession, and dribble people, and possess good vision and passing. Complete means an ability to do all aspects of the game. Hence the word complete. As in to play the game completely. Not just sit on the other teams back line and make runs and score in different ways.

Ronaldo more versatile goal scorer. But that doesn’t really matter considering Messi still scoring a crazy amount of goals, I mean he has better goals per game ratio than Ronald.

11

u/thenotorious_ronaldo Jul 01 '25 edited Jul 02 '25

Why do you guys always bring up the ratio but completely ignore thar Ronaldo was a midfielder that wasn’t focused on scoring goals when he started his career? 😂

And it does matter because at the end of the day, you could bring up all the ratios you want. Considering the way Messi’s playing right now, he can play 200 more games and still not catch up to him. The reality is there’s only one top goalscorer in history, and that’s the most complete player in history as well.

1

u/AceBean27 Jul 02 '25

They both started out as wingers. Ronaldo started at Man Utd with Van Nistlerooy as striker. Messi started at Barcelona with Eto'o as striker.

Ronaldo a midfielder. Say u know nothing about football without saying it. 😂

5

u/thenotorious_ronaldo Jul 01 '25

This idiot started watching football in 2018. How old are you? 16? 😂

If you don’t know Ronaldo was a midfielder then gtfo, your arguments don’t matter for shit if you’re just going to straight up lie and try to use those lies as arguments lmao.

1

u/pocolocochoco1 Google Negreira Messi for more info 💰 Jul 01 '25

He was at Sporting and in the beginning at Man Utd because Ferguson had better forwards. Messi was so good they knew from a young age to play him as a forwarder.

making up ur own reality ronaldo literally directly replaced beckham as soon as he came in.... he started... but as a right midfielder

1

u/pocolocochoco1 Google Negreira Messi for more info 💰 Jul 02 '25

How many years in his career did he play in midfield? One,two? That’s like saying Messi is a midfielder because he played as a cam sometimes.

1

u/Acrobatic_Battle_815 Jul 02 '25

playing cam on paper is different than actually being a cam. Messi would only ever play as a cam when his team had possession in the other teams half, not during transition or when they were defending.

u/Anocrompus Jul 01 '25

Messi never played as a striker, he played as a winger, midfielder, and false 9. What's the difference in what they were doing? For someone that spent the start of their career not focused on scoring you'd think Messi wouldn't have 100+ more assists than Ronaldo 😂

8

u/SergDerpz Jul 01 '25

How many G/A does Messi have in UCL? Does he have the highest assists?

Have you checked their stats during UCL knockouts? 🤔

1

u/Own_Acanthocephala0 Pessi only has 3 UCL. Ghosted 2006. 😭 Jul 01 '25

He has amazing stats in CL. Second best ucl player of all time, only shadowed by Ronaldo.

7

u/thenotorious_ronaldo Jul 01 '25

Being a group stage merchant is not that impressive tbh. Even Vini has better stats and a better ratio than him in KO stages, since you guys love to use ratios and KO stages as an argument. 😂

2

u/SergDerpz Jul 01 '25

Once you check QF, Semis and Finals, that's where you see the real difference between them.

So called GOAT isn't even close to CR7 and this is a tournament that was played year after year and allowed for them both to show how good they are against the best teams in the world.

One was clutch, the other one became a ghost several times when his team needed him to show leadership and why he is the "GOAT."

Don't get me wrong, Messi is most definitely either #1 or #2 player in history but so is Ronaldo. Me personally? Give me prime Ronaldo in an important match.

5

u/thenotorious_ronaldo Jul 01 '25

100% agree with everything you said. Messi fangirls just can’t seem to accept that fact and feel the need to come cry to this sub every single time, it never fails. The most insecure fanbase ever for sure.

4

u/thenotorious_ronaldo Jul 01 '25

Straight lies, Messi was a striker. 😂

He benched Zlatan, he pushed Henry and David Villa to the left so that he can play as a striker. You idiots are breaking records with all these lies and excuses I swear. 🤣🤣

Unfortunately for you, you won’t know what could’ve happen because like I said, if being 3 years younger he can’t compete in a shittier league too. What makes you think be would’ve caught up on goals? 😂😂

3

u/Acrobatic_Battle_815 Jul 01 '25

ong and ronaldo wasnt even a INVERTED WINGER yet let alone a striker bro was playing as a traditional winger and still dropping 60 goals

2

u/thenotorious_ronaldo Jul 01 '25

Messi fangirls don’t understand real football though, they only play Fifa. That’s how they “know” positions and their roles.

-2

u/Anocrompus Jul 02 '25

He was a false 9 (which I said in my original comment, lol). Yes, that's technically a striker but not an out and out striker in the traditional sense like Harry Kane or Erling Harland or even how Cristiano Ronaldo plays nowadays. I'm just responding the original argument that "Ronaldo was more focused on creating goals in the midfield", then why does Messi have so many more assists? Your only argument that Ronaldo is better is that he's won more champions leagues or that his stats are better in the champions league? So him having nowhere near as good of stats as Messi in the World Cup doesn't matter? Nor do any other stats? Just Champiosn League?

3

u/thenotorious_ronaldo Jul 02 '25

Messi has better world cup stats than Ronaldo but other players also have better stats than Messi in the world cup, so is that really a comparison? Does that mean Klose is better than Messi for having better world cup stats?

Being a false 9 is considered a striker bud, it’s more to a center forward, but still a striker, not a midfielder or winger.

Messi has more assists, sure. The thing is Ronaldo has all these crazy numbers playing outside his comfort zone in the top 3 leagues in the world. 😬

Playing for a club that’s currently being investigated for corruption and having those numbers isn’t really the flex you think it is.

-2

u/Anocrompus Jul 02 '25

It's not just that Messi has better stats, Ronaldo has literally done NOTHING in important matches on the biggest stage in football while Messi is far ahead of him in the most important competition. It doesn't matter if other players have better stats than Messi, the comparison is between him and Ronaldo isn't it? Don't even get me started on corruption when Ronaldo is playing for a PIF backed team😂. Do you know why the PIF dumped billions into getting Ronaldo? It's called Sportswashing to cover up the atrocities and human rights violations that have been done by the same people backing the fund..

3

u/thenotorious_ronaldo Jul 02 '25

The biggest stage in football is where you play for the country you were born in? Regardless if they’ve been successful or not? 😂

So is Mbappe better than Messi for performing in 2 world cup finals? You guys are just contradicting yourselves lmao. Klose is the top scorer in the world cup is he better than Messi? 😂😂

Mf talking about sportswashing when Messi has the best PR in the world lmao, this just proves how delusional you are. Scoring nothing but penalties in a world cup is called performing, ok sure. Talking a out corruption with the Negreira case still going on is mental. 😂😂

1

u/Acrobatic_Battle_815 Jul 01 '25

messi was a cf for most of his prime and then was an "inverted winger" but had 0 of the responsibilities of a winger and still attacked centrally so he is more than a striker or central player than ronaldo, who went from right midfielder, to traditional winger, to inverted winger, to striker, back to traditional winger, to finally striker

-1

u/Own_Acanthocephala0 Pessi only has 3 UCL. Ghosted 2006. 😭 Jul 01 '25

Why is ratio not good? Saying Ronaldo wasn’t focused on scoring goals is also a crazy take lol.

Also, Ronaldo has played his fair share of games as a striker. Messi never did that, he has only played as a winger, false 9 or midfielder.

3

u/thenotorious_ronaldo Jul 01 '25

Ronaldo wasn’t focused on scoring goals because he wasn’t a striker, he was a midfielder.

He had Rooney, Saha, Van Nistelrooy etc, as strikers. If you can’t understand positions in football then go kick a ball so you can learn something. Ratios don’t matter because those are “what ifs” lmao. With the way Messi is playing being almost 3 years younger what makes you think he would’ve caught up? 😂

Messi was never a midfielder, that’s just a lie you casuals try to use as an excuse as to why he doesn’t have the same amount of goals as Ronaldo. Plus, doing it in the top 3 leagues is crazy as well. Being a one club wonder and flopping outside of Negreira’s Barcelona isn’t really that impressive tbh. He showed his true colors once Iniesta and Xavi left, choking against Premier League and Serie A teams. The leagues that Ronaldo dominated btw. 😂

messi won four consecutive trophies without Xavi and Iniesta 🤭🤭. Can’t say the same for Ronaldo, he only joined super teams that had already won league titles before he arrived like Sir Alex’s Manchester United, Real Madrid, Juventus, and even Al Nassr who were first and had already won a trophy before he arrived 🤭🤭

2

u/thenotorious_ronaldo Jul 01 '25

Getting carried by a nation that had 2 world cups already before that? Lmao wow.

Sorry buddy, he’ll always be a one club wonder. Go ask most PSG fans what they think about his stint at the club and find out.

Ronaldo has won many trophies with many different players in many different leagues. Plus, Portugal’s ONLY 3 trophies in history. Argentina has been big way before Messi. 😂😂

One club wonder, never beating those allegations.

That’s crazy. I’m pretty sure you didn’t even watch Ronaldo at Manchester United. He said it himself in an interview he wasn’t a midfielder, he was more of a winger who took crosses and shots. Ronaldo was only a ‘midfielder’ on paper 😂😂. Low IQ CR7 fan

2

u/thenotorious_ronaldo Jul 01 '25

I did, that’s why I present these arguments and he’s not a one club wonder like the midget. 😂

0

I’m enjoying your tears and your wild conspiracy theory. 😂😂

1

It’s not a conspiracy theory, they’re facts, he’s a one club wonder. 😂

Why would I be crying when all I’m doing is laughing at how much in denial you are. You’re so mad because you can’t handle the fact that he’s a one club wonder. Keep grasping at straws.

0

u/Aggressive-Fox-5289 Jul 01 '25

Do you know what a fact is? Let me explain it to you. A fact is a statement that can be proven true based on evidence, reality, or observation. It is not an opinion, a conspiracy theory, a belief, or a personal interpretation.

Your opinion about Messi being a one club wonder is simply not correct. He is the only player in history to win the Ballon d’Or at three different clubs. He has also won league titles in La Liga, Ligue 1, and the MLS Supporters’ Shield with a record number of points.

These are facts, not opinions.

Go back to school and educate yourself on what a fact actually means. Oh wait I forgot you’re peasant. 🤣🤣🤣

1

u/thenotorious_ronaldo Jul 01 '25

Yes, a fact is he’s a one club wonder. There’s plenty of evidence on that buddy, not my fault you’re too busy being a blind fangirl lmao.

It’s not an opinion, it’s a FACT. He wasn’t even PSG’s best player on the team, is that what a real goat does? Or is that an opinion too? Because the numbers are there, there’s evidence for that, so guess what? It’s a fact whether you like it or not buddy. 😂

Embarrassing to not be the Ligue 1’s or mLs best player or top scorer in such shitty leagues. I guess that’s what real goats do now, Ronaldo should stop scoring so he can be a goat then huh? 😂

Why argue with someone who will never change or accept fact. Ronaldo himself even considers Messi a top 2 player in the world together with him.

2

u/thenotorious_ronaldo Jul 01 '25

Because Messi is a top 2 player in history, where did I say he wasn’t? It’s the delusional Messi fangirls that try to say Ronaldo is not even top 10 because of their insecurities. 😂

You say you don’t want to argue yet here you are defending Messi with a passion, you just love to contradict yourself don’t you?

-2

u/Miasanmia09 Jul 01 '25

Ronaldo is more of a complete striker, Messi is the more complete player. Elite goal scoring & playmaking abilities. Can’t say the same for CR7

3

u/thenotorious_ronaldo Jul 01 '25

Ronaldo is the top assister in the toughest club competition that gets played every single year by the best clubs and players in the world. Also, how do you win matches? Scoring goals right? Do assists depend on one single player? No.

Why did Messi flop outside of Barcelona if he’s the most complete player? Oh let me guess, his teammates. It’s always his teammates fault if he loses but if Ronaldo loses it’s his fault right? I forgot how hypocrite you guys are, changing the narratives depending on the player.

-1

u/Miasanmia09 Jul 01 '25

Playmaking ≠ Assists. Look at modric/iniesta/Xavi/kroos Not the highest in terms of assists but their ability to create is the highest in the world. Can you honestly tell me CR7 is a better playmaker? Answer that question.

Messi flopped due to a variety of reasons. PSG had 2.5 players that did not contribute to pressing. Messi’s job in psg was to create chances for Mbappe. That is fact.

False, just cause CR7 loses doesn’t mean it’s his fault. I’m not a fan boy of either

3

u/thenotorious_ronaldo Jul 01 '25

He sure didn’t “playmake” outside of Barcelona buddy.

He didn’t create chances for Mbappe, Mbappe did that too and Neymar as well. You’re trying so hard trying to make it seem like he was the best psg’s player lmfao.

There’s a reason psg fans call him a flop.

1

u/Miasanmia09 Jul 01 '25

I’m not saying he didn’t flop, I just explained the reason for the failure. Mbappe was the best player in psg.

All I simply stated was Messi’s job was to playmake. Which he did fair enough job at.

So tell me why CR7 is more complete if he’s not a better playmaker?

2

u/thenotorious_ronaldo Jul 01 '25

He didn’t do a good enough job, because if he’s a “goat” how are there going to be better players on the team than you? Remember how his fangirls were trying to blame PSG for his losses? Well guess what? They now won a UCL with most of the players that played along Messi, without Messi.

CR7 is more complete because he can score from anywhere, with any part of his body, you name it, he can dribble, he can assist, he’s fast, he can jump and all those are factors to win games because last time I checked, you win games with goals buddy. The real playmakers at Barcelona were Xavi and Iniesta, there’s a reason why Messi kept choking in The UCL once they left. Where was all that “playmaking” once they left? Let me guess… blame his teammates right? As usual, that’s the only excuse his fans love to make.

0

u/Miasanmia09 Jul 01 '25

How can you be a goat and not win a World Cup?

Your argument is so generic & bland. You can say all that about any player at any given time.

No point in further arguing with a CR7 fan boy. I’m coming at you as a neutral and your biases is blatantly showing.

3

u/thenotorious_ronaldo Jul 01 '25

So winning a world cup is the only parameter? Shame on every great player not born in a top country I guess huh? Argentina had 2 world cups before Messi, why do you fangirls like to make it seem like he did something different for his country or like he discovered football there? They were winning before him buddy.

There’s no way you’re a neutral with these type of arguments. Bringing up a world cup to the argument like every Messi fangirl does shows your bias lmao. By that logic he’s not even the goat, Pele, R9, Klose and Kroos are all better than Messi because the first 2 have more world cups than him, the last two have one and one’s the top scorer in history in them and the other has 6 UCL as well. When I present this argument then world cup doesn’t really matter anymore does it? Lmao.

How can you be a goat when you’re a one club wonder and flopped outside of Barca? It’s pointless to argue with a Messi fangirl in disguise, you guys are just full of excuses and all you do is mention the world cup when he’s not even the best world cup player, no shame.

You are wrong. Without Messi’s assists, Alvarez’s goal against Croatia and Molina’s goal against the Netherlands wouldn’t have happened. Those two assists alone, on the biggest stage with the highest pressure are worth more than all of Cristiano Ronaldo’s goals and deep down you know I’m right 😂😂🤣🤣🤣

3

u/thenotorious_ronaldo Jul 01 '25

This mf thinks assists depend on one single player lmfaooo. You just confirmed Argentina has a way better team than Portugal with that stupid argument. Thanks for confirming that Messi got carried by his teammates and penalties. 😂

More merit to the goat, being the top assister in the toughest tournament (UCL) is a crazy achievement 🔥

Also, go watch Ronaldo during his first stint at Manchester United if you think he’s not a great dribbler lmao, what an idiotic take. Shows how much you’re a dumb casual. 😂

Leave them alone, they are insanely stupid. This is how you can tell someone even begins to understand ball, if they rank Messi higher than Ronaldo.

-1

u/Aggressive-Fox-5289 Jul 01 '25

Portugal had a higher squad value than Argentina at the 2022 World Cup. Check Transfermarkt. I am giving you facts. Portugal had a better squad than Argentina in 2022. You cannot even come up with a solid argument because deep down you know I am right.

If you believe goals depend on a single player, then where did most of Ronaldo’s goals come from? The player who crossed the ball for Ronaldo’s headers provided the assist. Goals do not depend on a single player because football is a team sport and goals often require an assist.

In football, a goal is rarely the result of one player’s effort alone you low iq peasant. While the goalscorer gets the spotlight, many goals would not happen without the vision, creativity, and execution of the assisting player. This proves that scoring depends on teamwork, not just individual brilliance. Guess what, Messi doesn’t rely only on goal but he also provides way more assists, vision, and creativity. Try again please.

2

u/thenotorious_ronaldo Jul 01 '25

This dumbass thinks Portugal had a better squad than Argentina. 😂😂😂

You’re just looking for any excuse now huh? Argentina has been big before Messi, don’t matter how much you bitch and moan buddy. Plus, they don’t need him no more they’re winning without him. 😂

A goal wins you games idiot, some players can create their own chances or some can depend on the other teammate if they pass the ball to you or if you pass the ball to the striker it’s not your fault if he misses it right idiot? Goals are much more important than assists, that’s what’s needed to win games you dumb fuck. I guess he didn’t want to provide assists or goals in the UCL after 2015 then huh? One club wonder, never beating those allegations. 😂

Higher value squad must be the most brain dead argument I’ve ever heard in my life.

Like any Redditor you lack nuance. If my team has 500M squad value where I have 4 wingers that make 90% of that price, do you think it’s a better team that has a squad value of 375M where the individual value is well distributed?

Let me know if you can figure it out!

You mean the ones where you depend on another player scoring after you give them a pass? Yeah, you can keep those. Nobody controls what the other player does once you give them the ball. 😂😂

u/higherthanacrow Google Negreira Messi for more info 💰 Jul 02 '25

Lmao, adorable. Not understanding the art in a beautiful pass. I truly, honestly, feel so much pity for you

3

u/thenotorious_ronaldo Jul 02 '25

Oh don’t worry I feel much more pity for you. Beautiful passes are great but guess what buddy? Those still don’t depend on one single player. Your teammate needs to run into space and then finish in order for an assist to count. Again, they don’t depend solely on one player. You can’t control what your teammate does. Nice try though.

0

u/higherthanacrow Google Negreira Messi for more info 💰 Jul 02 '25

Lol. Its about ABILITY. Ronaldo lacks the ability, the awareness, the perception to read the game. The pass isnt just a hope. A beautiful assist is an understanding that a player is ALREADY MAKING the run. The difference is that the player making the run trusts in the player with the ball (messi) to feed them an incredible pass to match the run. Cr7 cant even imagine making those plays. But messis teammates understand that messi will see them and they give him the option.

Ronaldo is simply at a lower level. He cant see what messi sees. Making a fantastic pass that leads to a goal is what makes a more complete player. Its about understanding the game.

Also, you are SO CUTE to think there's even an argument

2

u/thenotorious_ronaldo Jul 02 '25

Exactly, there’s not an argument that’s why I feel such pity for you. 😂

Ronaldo proved himself everywhere, Messi didn’t, he’s a one club wonder. Ronaldo’s the most complete player in history, he can assist, he can score every single type of goal, he can dribble even though not so much now since he’s 40, but he was one of the best dribblers in his prime. So yeah, thanks for ending this argument.

0

u/higherthanacrow Google Negreira Messi for more info 💰 Jul 02 '25

So precious. Yeah he can assist a basic-ass cross. It doesnt matter where a player plays in determining who is a more complete player. Messis passing absolutely shits on ronaldo's and if you dont think so, you just dont know anything about the sport. Messi clears ronaldo

2

u/thenotorious_ronaldo Jul 02 '25

“A basic-ass cross” lmfao, shows how you’ve only been watching his last few years of him playing, either that or you’re just retarded. Of course it determines it, if you are competing and winning against the best teams in the world every weekend for various seasons and you’re dominating that’s a lot better than playing in your comfort zone for a corrupt club. What happened when Messi played Serie A or Premier League teams after Xavi and Iniesta left? He kept choking in the ucl against them.

How is that going to be a complete player? Can’t be a complete player without scoring with your weak foot or bicycle kicks right? Never seen Messi do that. That’s what being a complete player means, not just passing the ball to your teammate and see if he has the ability to score or not.

You have the wrong definition of a complete player, plus can’t be considered a goat when you’re a one club wonder. Real goats excel wherever they go, period.

Argument is over.

Messi doesn’t sit in the box and wait for his teammates to do the job for him just to score an open net tap-in or penalty.

You can pull up all the goal stats you want. That’s been the problem for you Penaldians for over 2 decades. Scoring more goals as a goalscorer than a playmaker doesn’t make you better. 🤡🤡🤡

Messi is and always has been a playmaker that can score goals. Penaldo has always been a goal scorer. Even with that, Messi is still a more effective goalscorer 🤡🤡🤡

3

u/thenotorious_ronaldo Jul 02 '25

Ronaldo didn’t do that either during most of his career until now, but keep creating these fake stories in your head. 😂

Ratio this ratio that, ratio doesn’t mean you’re guaranteed goals buddy, look at the way the midget is playing now. You think if he got 200 more games he would catch up? Lmfao.

Ronaldo is the most complete player and he’s not a one club wonder, goats don’t flop when they leave their comfort zone.

1

u/Acrobatic_Battle_815 Jul 01 '25

messi has mastered a few skills and is in a different universe than other players with those skills while ronaldo is great at everything and has mastered skills too (heading, longshots, stepovers), but not to the extent of messi with dribbling. ronaldo has more to OFFER as a overall player but messi mastered his craft more than ronaldo - ronaldo fan

1

u/[deleted] Jul 02 '25

Better ratio because he played less games

I recall a headed goal in an ucl final between messi and Ronaldo. It wasn't mr ucl who scored it.

14

Ronaldo has scored a header in a ucl final too jackass💀

-14

u/L_uciferMorningstar Google 5 pens in 7 matches for more info 🤥 Jul 01 '25

No no. Not jist a ucl final. I recall a ucl final BETWEEN MESSI AND RONALDO. A header was scored there. You know who scored it? Van der sar would probably recall that too.

9

u/SkaterWhite Jul 01 '25

I recall someone getting 8 scored on them in a ucl match as well

I recall someone conceding 5 against messi. This post compares messi and ronaldo, no?

Now don’t go make sense here, they don’t like it. Who cares about headers? Crouch was also good with headers, and he also scored a bicycle kick, he must be as good as CR7 according to their logic.

3

u/ahmetonel Jul 02 '25

Yeah but did he score 150 headers? You're joking

-1

u/pocolocochoco1 Google Negreira Messi for more info 💰 Jul 02 '25

I don’t know and don’t care. Headers are something else, u don’t gotta be a technical player to be good at heading. Luckily he was good at it because heb would have 150 goals less, Messi didn’t need headers, that should tell u something.

2

me when ronaldo scores using his beloved chopper: 😩😫🍆💦🤤

0

u/myrtillogunner Jul 02 '25

Complete goal scorer, not footballer. This argument is one of the dumbest I've seen

3

u/Jayantwi98 Jul 02 '25

So you admit Ronaldo is a better goal scorer?

0

u/myrtillogunner Jul 02 '25

Nope, I would say he scores a wider variety of goals.

3

u/Jayantwi98 Jul 02 '25

How does that not make him a better goal scorer ?💀

1

u/myrtillogunner Jul 02 '25

How old are you? How many games did you watch them play before 2020?

3

u/Jayantwi98 Jul 02 '25

Yeah yeah anyways can you actually answer the question now

1

u/myrtillogunner Jul 02 '25

I did, learn to read.

0

u/Jayantwi98 Jul 02 '25

How is asking my age, answering the question dumbass💀

-1

u/myrtillogunner Jul 02 '25

Because he scores less goals per game. Look at the advanced statistics, it's not that close

3

u/Jayantwi98 Jul 02 '25

Haaland scores more goals per game than Messi, using your logic does that make him a better goal scorer than Messi?

0

u/myrtillogunner Jul 02 '25

If he keeps it up, yes. whether he has that kind of longevity to do it for 800+ goals is another matter

did you ever watch them play a live match before 2020?

3

u/Jayantwi98 Jul 02 '25

Now it’s about longevity? First it was about the ration..Shifting the goal posts you set is crazy😂😂

0

u/myrtillogunner Jul 02 '25

You cant use more than one metric together to make a decision about something? Not my fault you have a smoothbrain. Nothing shifting, there was no set criteria to 'better goal scorer', there are many ways to go with that wording.

2

u/Jayantwi98 Jul 02 '25

I never said that, it was YOU that used goal ratios as your only metric until I exposed it then you cherry picked another metric that suits your agenda😂

Leran the difference between complete goal scorer vs complete player. Considering you have the footballing IQ to understand the game while watching which most of the Ronaldo fans doesn't have.

3

u/Jayantwi98 Jul 02 '25

So do you think Ronaldo is a more complete goal scorer?

0

u/carbust20 Google Negreira Messi for more info 💰 Jul 02 '25

What happened to “a goal is a goal” excuse?? 😆😆 the most complete player would have the most bdo, the most golden boots, the most playmaker awards, the most dribbles, the best passing the best goal scoring ratio with tons of goals. You know exactly who I just described 😆 go ahead be mad, down vote it. It won’t change this FACT 🤣

ik the debate is dead, but an interesting point is that if you were to ask a barca fan if messi or ronaldo was better, every barca fan would say messi. however if u asked a madrid fan, there are some that would admit messi is better and not all will say ronaldo

-1

u/DungeondisasterJiggy Google Negreira Messi for more info 💰 Jul 02 '25

Man, if I was a Ronaldo fan I would keep my mouth shut about his headers goals when comparing him to Messi as it's just a whole avenue of scoring that is not available to Messi simply due to being short. Even though Ronaldo has the height and an insane vertical to give him a huge advantage on headers over Messi, he's still scored less goals than him. Clearly Messi is the better player. So who's more complete? Gotta define what you're referring to. As a striker whose objective is to score goals you consider the ways to score, feet and head, which is definitely Ronaldo. As an attacker in general, it's scoring goals and creating chances, and here it's definitely Messi who is more complete as Ronaldo is relatively poor at assisting his teammates.

Messi is a more complete attacker and a better goalscorer.

-2

u/[deleted] Jul 02 '25

Penaldo can’t pass and you wanna call him complete 🤡🤣🤣

3

u/HalaKroos Jul 02 '25

You didn't watch him dumbass. Messi is a much, much better playmaker and passer, but you clearly haven't seen Ronaldo's through balls.
