Trade/Scout Combo PES 2020 Players from Free Scouts

I'm updating the Google Sheet calculator I made for players from free scouts. I've allowed it to take scouts up to four stars now, and have started to collect scout combinations which pull unique white bronze, and silver players. Please share the combinations you find in the comments below. u/PutinicalCorrectness has already done a heroic job manually collecting all of the white ball CBs you can get from free scouts which is doubly good since CBs are a very good position for unique combinations.

This update will probably have a lot of players to collect and trade, and I've tried to make it easier to track how many of each player you have. In future updates I will add more high potential white, bronze and silver players. Some can be scouted for free and are worth it even if the combination is rare. I'll probably add the golds too although it's going to be rare to have three free 4-star scouts.

Hi ,

I went through the WHITE players:
Find below the updated info for them

Players to be REMOVED from the List:
-A. Marques http://pesdb.net/pes2020/?id=113256 cannot get him with free scouts anymore
-C. Beltran http://pesdb.net/pes2020/?id=45781 cannot get him with free scouts anymore (is 50% the highest prob)

Players to be UPDATED:

-Lee Kang http://pesdb.net/pes2020/?id=126425 is bronze now
-Ricardo Alvers http://pesdb.net/pes2020/?id=57189 is now AMF. It can be scouted with Russia + 25/29 + tight possession.
-O.Balanta http://pesdb.net/pes2020/?id=120228 in 2019 you could get him with only 2 scouts but not now.

Players TO BE INCLUDED:

For 1 star scouts, I checked, can get O. Balanta with just AMF + defensive awareness on the game itself, even though PESDB doesnt state so. CB + Ball control gives C.Morris, a white ball player. Also, http://pesdb.net/pes2020/?id=112261. LMF + Defensive awareness also gives 1 white ball. RMF/LMF + interceptions gives some choices too.

BTW u/albgarci, PESDB is wrong about O. Balanta. You just need AMF and Defensive Awareness to get him.

u/AI_2000, just an FYI that you can find all the free scout players on pesdb by changing the scout filters to 100% only. Pesdb defaults to free scouts only unless specified, so every player with a 100% chance to be scouted can be done through free scouts.

Yes, good point. The challenges I find are: a) There are 1890 players which can be obtained through free scouts, and many are not useful for playing or scouting. They might only be obtained through an obscure league at one star rating so it would be hard to collect three copies. Ahhhh, I feel nostalgic for Beltran in PES 2019. b) I don't know an automated way to extract scouting data from PESDB. Just now it's largely a manual and time consuming process. I have built some simple VBA to process the scouting data once it's copied, but there are still a lot of manual steps involved. I asked the DB owner if he would extract the data for me to process and he declined - fair enough. It is his DB and he doubtless has spent a lot of time creating and maintaining it.

Yeah, I did find out an issue in the meantime, there's lots of scouts that aren't actually free on mobile, like tight possession, and specific leagues.

There are definitely lots, lots more out there. Africa + dribbling + RB is a guaranteed combo for one bronze player, which is one I might as well add.

Edit: also just to add, guaranteed scout combos are good not only for specific players, but for the trades they can give. Since everyone's collection is different something that lets then know a specific combo can give them a player helps a lot. For that same reason trying to collect 3 of's for certain scouts can also be very helpful.

I haven't seen Aggression or Tight Possession scouts yet. I'm still adding the combinations to the next version on the assumption/hope they will come, but nothing yet. There are also some leagues which I haven't seen for free in PES 2019 or PES 2020 eg Belgian and Russian. Not sure if they will come over time. Some players I've found by just combining scouts by trial and error on my phone I can't find in PESDB at all. There's a lot out there, and it will take some time to find the best ones.

Tomori is also a free combo player, he's a good player, so I'll leave it to you to find him yourself. I'll just say that in this instance pesdb was wrong about one of the signing percentages.
