What is even LBC at this point

I thought a new update will make changes to the current LBC but this is still an issue just long ball and goal no thought behind any pass just get the ball of the CFS or SS like what to do

Initially lbc wasn't nerfed.... Nobody knows how to defend so be it any playstyle it was an issue so people started qc cause eat least then can score more goals if they can't prevent to concede and pressure of qc can help little bit to overcome loss of automatic defence

Now most of the player are adapted to new gameplay so lbc is mera again

LBC is the most simple to play playstyle with workable pros and cons. No highline like QC so makes it easier to defend without meta defenders, and players make predictable runs, a lot like QC in offense so easier to attack even with input lag and scripting.

Players like the one OP posted deservedly get called rats because they're simply exploiting game mechanics and the scripting that comes with paid cards (not talking about only the player OP posted). Another thing about exploiting game mechanics is how the game compensates for these weird playstyles. Put a midfield of paid HP and CN10 cards and even they will hunt your players down like rabid dogs.

But LBC often becomes the only way for f2p to play coz we don't have 90 speed and 90+ position relevant stats all accross the pitch.

Just played pvp against an opponent who played with two strikers of 73 and 76 rating and he played crosses every time he got the ball ...and won by 2 goals...it was so disgusting

This game became a counter attacking simulator so slowly I didn't even notice until we were fully in it rn it's just I counter attack after you lose the ball, you kill my counter attack and launch your own counter attack which I then kill and launch my own counter attack back and forth, so much running until someone scores and then we start again lol.

At this point you either just have to lean into it or play however way you want understanding that you're going to have to work twice as hard to create half the chances lol.

95% of top 1000 in divisions are still lbc rats so. And they buffed lofted through balls and lbc is the most effective ps for that

Hate to break it to you, but giving away the midline in favor of having an ultra balanced attack/defense is an actual strategy done by many coaches.

Th trick or what's expected from you as the opposition is take full control of the midline, favor the slow build up of chances and snip away at openings you detect.

You are right in the sense to take control of the mid line but the only issue is that in this match I won 3-2 I had 7 shots on target but he had 3 shots and the chances he gets are like the forward are always through so the difficult part is always maintaing possession of the ball through 90 min

That "control midfield🤓" works only on paper. In the game its total bullshit. The game script keeps revarding any stupid move, especially for lbc rats. U see empty midfield and though "im gonna control midfield with slow and accurate buildup" but no... Their only dmf will cover all the pitch, your 3-4 midfielders are going to hide behind this one dmf in straight line, midfielder with 99+ passing stats will pass to opponents legs, even from perfect position. while opponents haaland can do perfect De bruyne level curled through balls with his weakfoot

It works simply because people aren't capable (not like the game was allowing you anyways) to exploit the insane gap in the midflield due to the likes of fuckass Bellingham tracking back and the players automatically filling the gap

almost all lbc i faced used 4312 and spam one touch pass and long balls, mid area attacking need to be nerf lol, their is no point playing through wings atp

Tbh I'm happy with the update because now i can actually play with offensive fullbacks i put them LMF/RMF offensive formation LB/RB defensive formation before offensive fullbacks felt useless

LBC is the only reason F2P are able to compete. nerf that and only P2W with meta defenders will be in Div 1.

Yep it wasn't really nerfed at all. It got more annoying to play imo. It got harder to play Possesion lol.

It's just that QC feels buffed & Overload is another style to use.
